What? Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 07:43, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the welcome. I am just part of a backwater wiki trying to reorganize itself after drama. We do have sympathizers here from what I gather, it is all cool. I personally nor do I think anyone else at STW have any intention of disrupting the really intelligent discourse here or plan to vandalize anything. Most of us, at least from my readings, agree with rational wiki on many stances though we have definate anarchist leanings. Amongst the remainders of the STW community, we do have those which do not drink the Kool-Aide of blind 1960's anarchism. But, if your rational wiki allows us to get to get back together, you guys will allow us to get to our REAL roots. That is, honest articles on what to do if things get really bad. And, it will be a lot more rational (tm)! If this offends some of you guys, do not be worried. We have common enemies. cough... Conservapedia...cough...
- Sounds interesting. May I ask what wiki it was? Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 09:12, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, just now put two and two together. You're from StealThisWiki, of course. I feel silly now. Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments.
Yeah, read some of our better articles, friend. We had some pretty good and may I add very professional stuff. Now, some of the stuff was very raw and unpolished. I take responsibility for thta. Maybe some in the STW community got on my ass occasionally about being rigid on standards. It is just a shame we had to go thru drama. The stuff we talked about MUST be spread for the good of the public! Think of the humanitarian service that all of us guys at STW offered! Actually, if you got past the trust fund babies, most of us free thinkers that were left are pretty cool guys (and gals)!
Lived in BR[edit]

Uhgh... I feel sorry for you. CATS has to be one of the suckiest public bus systems ever. The only worse one is Jackson, MS Jatran which only runs 6 AM to 6 PM. I-12 traffic is awful. There are pockets of rational resistance in BR, but it is definite fundie stronghold. And that state capitol! Is that like just a huge white penis or is Baton Rouge just wanting to fuck people? Well, at least you have cheap rent. In NOLA, they are insane. The apartment I had in the Bywater Pre-katrina was 400 USD, now it is 1200 USD! I got a good deal here, but was lucky and had to use tricks from the wiki I was at before to get it. — Unsigned, by: Green1 / talk / contribs
Signing posts[edit]
Hey, could you sign your talk, saloon bar, and other non-article edits (all chat-type posts) with your sig? Just add ~~~~ after the text of your post. This can help keep track of who posts what on talk pages (like the diploma mill page) too. Nice post there btw. Thanks! ±KnightOfTL;DRsufficiently advanced argument still distinguishable from magic 14:05, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the gentle reminder.--Green1 (talk) 14:11, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
- No problem. Another thing is that (and you probably noticed) replies to chat posts usually get indented with : . So like,
- My opinion is fact.
- :No it's not, now let's fight over it on a talk page for hours.
- ::You hurt my feelings and now I will never listen to you.
- becomes,
- My opinion is fact.
- No it's not, now let's fight over it on a talk page for hours.
- You hurt my feelings and now I will never listen to you.
- No it's not, now let's fight over it on a talk page for hours.
- People were really nice to me when I first joined, so I see no reason to leap on over here with a megaphone and a cattleprod and abuse you. You seem cool, so I'm glad you're around. New people are always fun; I'm very new myself. ^u^ ±KnightOfTL;DRsufficiently advanced argument still distinguishable from magic 14:28, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
- The other wiki I was on, folks were pretty cool, too. We never really had all the hard headed opinion wars or anything like that. Except one time when someone tried to copy/paste from other sources repeatedly after we prodded (not even good stuff, either). That stuff makes it no fun. Actually hurts the site, too. There are folks who only lurk and read what people write looking for good information. That is why we are here. You also learn a lot editing the better wikis. If you know everything, you cannot learn anymore. What is the fun in that. So far, I like it. Everyone is super cool. Thanks. Sorry about indents. The other site I was on did not use that style guide for responses and has given me bad habits. --Green1 (talk) 14:53, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
stealthiswiki[edit]
The URL stealthiswiki.org has been squatted by some Japanese firm, so I guess the site is truly dead. I did download the material (save for the forums) so all is not lost. Is there someway I can contact you directly? Unidyne (talk) 02:01, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
