This isn't a bicyclopedia. This is a Danish anti-Clog forum. Lets work on arguments, not writhing riding. - Shangri'la Ha'bib and her But'tresses.[1] ħuman 21:16, 14 June 2008 (EDT)
I was trying to help...[edit]
I accidentally tried to correct the spelling[2] of Yucca Mountain, the first of several things that needed fixing, when I was interrupted by some silly banner reading:
"Your user name or IP address has been blocked.
The block was made by TK. The reason given is (sub)Human Troll/Vandal. Bye.. "
The lead also says the primary season "will end" on June 3, 2008. That needs to be changed to the past tense.
The primary "reporting" also seems to have been abandoned in early April.
McCain and Obama are not the nominees until the conventions. Right now they are both "presumptive" or "certain to be" nominees.
I was only trying to encyclopedicize, not foruminate! ħuman 21:25, 14 June 2008 (EDT)
A little suggestion for future reference[edit]
Just so you remember in the future: The correct response to an argument over debated facts on an alleged 'Trustworthy Encyclopedia' is NOT to block the lower-ranking arguers.
But then, CP isn't really Trustworthy OR an Encyclopedia, so I guess it doesn't really matter... --Gulik 11:01, 15 June 2008 (EDT)

Nevermind, Henry, Terry didn't need your help after all! Aggrieved is already out for two weeks, and Wandering, StatsMsn and AdenJ will be gone soon enough as well. I think the encyclopedia will be substantially improved by this series of actions - just like you proposed. 76.10.153.10 18:06, 15 June 2008 (EDT)

- Oh, it was my 41st blocking at CP (well, my 41st blocking as Horace). THe straw that broke the camel's back. I snapped. Anyway, he now appears to be examining the circumstances of my original block. Who knows. Maybe I will be welcomed back into the fold. --Horace 23:30, 7 September 2008 (EDT)

Haven't had a sock in months. Just because the guy's initials are "AG" doesn't mean that he's me. For example I am not, in fact, Alberto Gonzales. Nor would I want to be. yeesh.-caius (decider) 01:36, 30 September 2008 (EDT)

Crazy Judy[edit]
You write that Judy Wood's "Where Did the Towers Go?" makes scientific sense to you. Here are a few reasons why it does not.
She shows that horrifying image of WTC1 half collapsed and says "See -- it's dustifying before our eyes!" It's been estimated that the mass of sheetrock in the walls alone (i.e. not counting ceilings) was of the order of 1000 tons. That image is exactly what 1000 tons of sheetrock would look like if it was compressed beyond its strength.
She shows the video of a long vertical section of cladding abruptly falling, leaving behind a trail of dust, and says that's conclusive. Well, do you not think that cladding would have accumulated a huge coating of gypsum before it fell? Do you not think the shock of whatever actually made it fall might shake off that dust?
She shows a NYPD car with a badly burned back half but a pristine front half. She says "cars don't burn like that." Well, they do if a fireman comes along with a hose and douses the fire before it spreads.
She asks why there are so many images of partially burned cars with the door handles missing. The answer is very simple -- they melted. Door handles have been made of plastic for a long time now.
She shows that image of a fire truck with the front-projecting ladder bent crazily downwards. She asks "What happened here?" I'd say something fucking heavy (like a section of the tower) fell on it.
She shows another fire truck with an exposed, damaged, front. She asks "What happened to the engine?" The answer is "Nothing, Judy dear. That's not where the engine of a fire truck would be. Time for your nap, I think".
People ask her where exactly the "directed energy weapon" was situated in order to do its destructive work. She does not answer, says "that's not important."
If you want more, read this.
