2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

Why are you reverting and readding edits?[edit]

- π 23:00, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, I'm a new user. Apparently some of my first edits weren't contributed to my account, but to my IP-address (although I thought to be logged in). I wanted to make it undone, in order to keep my IP-address invisible and to have those changes in my contributions. However, I didn't know the 'undo'-button is rather a 'change'-button keeping the IP-address in the history of fossil record. I discovered this only shortly thereafter. — Unsigned, by: Plasmageek / talk / contribs 23:53, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Yah, I saw that as well, though I put two and two together and figured you were redoing your own edits under a proper account.
By the way, Plasmageek, a couple of things: firstly, would you please sign your talk page posts with four tildes (like so: ~~~~)? There's also a one-click signature button in the row of buttons that appears when you edit a page; it's the second one from the right. Secondly, in general, when someone posts on a talk page, you only need to respond on that talk page, rather than the other user's talk page.
