Note: Citizendium is a bit like a bad horror film: just when you think it's dead, it comes back and does something ridiculous. That said, we're pretty much documenting its terminal decline now. The WIGO is, however, still open to entries.

7Citizendium seems to have spent the last 6 months going backwards. From the counts on the Welcome to Citizendium main page, they have lost a net 835 articles since the Internet Archive's 29 December 2023 snapshot.

6We may ridicule Citizendium for infrequent updates to their articles, but at least some exist... until they just delete them. For example, not only has the article on noted philosopher Daniel Dennett not been updated to reflect recent terminal news, but it has also been found unworthy of the great encyclopedia.

January 2024: A Make-or-Break Year for Citizendium?[edit]

6Sysop John Leach, who has spent the last several days deleting hundreds of pages, appeals to Citizens to create more articles. (At least he's using RationalWiki to come up with the lists.)
