Why Are You Atheists So Angry?: 99 Things That Piss Off the Godless is a book by the American author and blogger Greta Christina. It was published in 2012.

The promotional text for the book reads:

Why are atheists angry? Is it because they're selfish, joyless, lacking in meaning, and alienated from God? Or is it because they have legitimate reasons to be angry--and are ready to do something about it? Armed with passionate outrage, absurdist humor, and calm intelligence, popular blogger Greta Christina makes a powerful case for outspoken atheist activism, and explains the empathy and justice that drive it. This accessible, personal, down-to-earth book speaks not only to atheists, but also to believers who want to understand the so-called new atheism. Why Are You Atheists So Angry? drops a bombshell on the destructive force of religious faith—and gives a voice to millions of angry atheists.

The book was preceded by a lecture of the same name which Greta gave at Skepticon 4,[1] which itself was preceded by her signature blog post "Atheists and Anger".[2] The lecture and blog post contain most of the reasons she gives in the book. Her goal, she says, is to answer the title question which is often leveled at atheists when they react strongly to seemingly small attitudes or actions that privilege religion (such as putting up Ten Commandments monuments in public spaces) or which disadvantage atheists (such as the misconception that morality comes from religion, usually specifically the speaker's particular religion).
