Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum videtur
That which is said in Latin sounds profound. In other words, if it's incomprehensible, there's no reason (or excuse) for you to take it at face value. Remember, just because you can recite the dog Latin for the main logical fallacies doesn't mean you know how to apply them properly.
