Wokeness – or cultural socialism, as Prof. Eric Kaufmann puts it – is destroying Western civilization.
—Andrew Lawton [1]

Eric Kaufmann, by trade a professor of politics at the University of Buckingham, is a member of the right-wing ecosystem/echo chamber, focused on promoting race pseudoscience and transphobia. He was interviewed for the racist Aporia Magazine podcast[2]; spoke out in favor of ending the "anti-racism taboo" during the questions section of the speech by Amy Wax at the Stanford Academic Freedom Conference; and is a recipient of wingnut welfare via his role as an Adjunct Fellow at the Manhattan Institute[3]

And if that isn't enough to make Kaufmann a right-wing racialist, he was identified as "a friend" by professional racist Steve Sailer.[4]

To get an idea of how important and heroic Kaufmann believes himself to be, consider the image he uses to illustrate his Soundcloud account, Oath of the Horatii by French Neo-Classical painter Jacques-Louis David.[5]

Eric Kaufmann and his friends vow to preserve "Western Civilization" through race pseudoscience and right-wing bigotry. From left to right: Kaufmann, Steven Pinker, Douglas Murray, Peter Thiel, Linda Gottfredson, Jerry Coyne, Lee Jussim, Amy Wax, Elizabeth Weiss

Career[edit]

Stanford Academic Freedom Conference[edit]

Kaufmann participated in the 2022 Stanford Academic Freedom Conference[6], a virtual who's who of right-wingers, reactionaries, anti-vaxxers and promoters of race pseudoscience, including Amy Wax, Steven Pinker, Jerry Coyne and Douglas Murray. Peter Thiel was the keynote speaker.
