Hi,
Thanks for sharing this link - but unfortunately it seems to be not working? Does anybody here at rationalwiki.org have a mirror or another source?
Cheers,
Jules

- I believe you but what's the motive? Just a meme creation or was a link filtered out by spam protection? ~ Lumenos (talk) 02:56, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

"Exhausted"[edit]
What does "exhausted" mean? ListenerXTalkerX 03:39, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
- If the only candidates left on a ballot are passed the "threshold" then it winds up not being counted. Tmtoulouse (talk) 04:02, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
Volunteer drafting[edit]
Now the next part is to find a role for ListenerX in the RWF so that he'll be ready when it's his turn in the barrel :-D - David Gerard (talk) 10:41, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, I think we should have a system whereby the board can co-opt the highest ranked non-winner to the board in case of retirement. That would mean that should anyone quit for any particular reason LX would be automatically appointed to the board. I'll consider officially proposing it at a board meeting, but consider it just a thought for now. moral 13:23, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
- Surely a "by-election" would be a better way to handle that? ListenerXTalkerX 15:52, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
- Also, isn't there the ever-wonderful position of "secretary" that needs to be filled somehow? Lord of the Goons The official spikey-haired skeptical punk 16:01, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
- Well a) a by-election is a massive faff b) we already know the order of preference people want and c) IMO the point of a by-election is to re-open nominations for unfilled positions, not to fill positions emptied through extraordinary reasons. But whatever, I was only putting it up for discussion so if people would prefer a by-election in such circumstances then we can do that. moral 16:08, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
- Well, the easiest answer is to put the matter on the agenda and discuss it on the board. Also, I'm cool with ListenerX being secretary if he wants to... I don't want to force it on him just to fit him in though. "Sorry, ListenerX, you've been drafted." --Eira OMTG! The Goat be Praised. 18:31, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
