this is pure comedic gold. Nay, platinum. Nay, plutonium. Nay, unobtainium. Refined to one hundred and twenty percent of purity. Avengerofthe BoN (talk) 00:59, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- I wouldn't consider being in the ref tags as hidden. I'll add the site titles, 'k?--Arisboch ☞✍☜☞✉☜ 01:01, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- Do that. What I wanted to say is that some people tend to ignore what is written in a footnote. And given that this is really a joke better thaen anything I could come up with if I tried, that would be sad... Avengerofthe BoN (talk) 01:07, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- I came up with a slightly snarky title. If you came up with a better one, please edit it.--Arisboch ☞✍☜☞✉☜ 01:10, 11 October 2015 (UTC)

Gender Mainstreaming[edit]
The AfD likes to hate against it or the "Gender Wahn" (=Gender delusion). I have thus far been too lazy to look up whether any of this really exists, but I think it is just a dog whistle to disguise the fact that the AfD hates everything and everybody that contradicts Kinder Küche Kirche Avengerofthe BoN (talk) 22:12, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
- Gender mainstreaming seems definitely to exist, but it is twisted by right-wing reactionaries to, as you correctly assessed it, stomp down any kind of critique of their views on gender and sexuality (KKK, LGBT, women in the workplace, military, politics and society as whole and so on). Probably you (or me) should add a link to the wiki article and mention, how they twist it into a snarl word.--Arisboch ☞✍☜☞✉☜ 16:27, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- Please do go ahead, kind sir. Avengerofthe BoN (talk) 18:47, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
Guns against refugees[edit]
Frauke Petry's for shooting at refugees at the border (and it was fucked-in-the-brain enough to make it into the headlines of foreign media, [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]), which inspired that kinda black-humor poster (translation: "People are drowning in the Mediterranean: We don't give a shit! People fleeing to Germany: We shoot at them!" (the wordplay in the original was lost in translation. Sorry)).--Kugelschreiber (talk) 01:14, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
- Its rather vague, shoot with what? No gun is mentioned. It could be a water-cannon, or if a gun - rubber pellets etc. I think the media took this out of context.Schizophrenic (talk) 10:33, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
- Her actual quote in German was the following
- which translates into "The border policeman must stop the illegal trespassing of the border and use a firearm if necessary. That's what the [German] law tells us." I don't know how strong your understanding of German is but when a German-speaking person hears "Schusswaffe" they immediately think of guns and never ever ever water cannons. Don't pretend that this was merely a bad choice of words as Petry has admitted multiple times to use extreme statements to get publicity (and/or rile up her clown followers) such as in this interview she did (in English, which is a must-read/must-watch imo) and in this The Guardian article about her.∈ NameThatNobodyTakes (✎) 12:43, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
- Doesn't say shoot the illegal immigrants. A firearm can be used a warning shot. The English Democrats proposed the same thing about firing a round of machine-gun ammo; the media got hold of it and distorted what was actually said. In fact this reminds me also of Nick Griffin's statement about sinking boats in the Mediterranean with illegal immigrants on them. He never said to murder the illegal immigrants, just destroy the boats. Schizophrenic (talk) 14:59, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
- All these statements imply lethal force. Let's take it for granted hypothetically that these ridiculous statements have no ill intent: So what happens when immigrants just ignore the warning shot? Do the border guards just fire one again in the belief that trespassing immigrants just overheard the first one? If immigrants know they won't be shot when they arrive it can't serve as a deterrence. Since when can you sink ships without harming anyone, especially with elderly and minors on board? So he's fine when immigrants swim to the land then? I get the impression you act as if immigration was nothing but a American Gladiators style discipline where the ones who manage the ordeal become winners and the loosers go back home with nothing. You just a . ∈ NameThatNobodyTakes (✎) 15:32, 12 August 2016 (UTC)

I think a lot of things here are not accurate[edit]
I myself live in Germany (Heidelberg), and I don't think the AfD is racist or homophobic, there are members that are homosexual (like Alice Weidel) or black. I myself do not find it a good idea to throw all conservatives in the same category, I also do like George Carlin despite him being strongly liberal, I just do not approve of the BLM movement. I think those cliches must die out. 2003:C3:3725:2900:1FA:6DC4:2BAB:C8C0 (talk) 09:26, 25 July 2020 (UTC)
- I think all of the things in the article are accurate and I live in Germany for 58 years now, being born there. I will try to rectify the <citation needed> issues whenever I find some time. But it is nice to jump in here anonymously, make some typical right wing whiner comments and then leave again. Rolly (talk) 21:11, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
Emil Kirkegaard and AfD - new investigation by a journalist[edit]
A recent article was published in a mainstream German newspaper (full access):
According to research by ZEIT ONLINE, Mathilda Huss is closely connected to the right-wing extremist scene. The entrepreneur already runs a hotel with her partner in Potsdam, and her private villa is also located on the same site. AfD politicians and officials from the AfD youth organization Junge Alternative, the Values Union and the right-wing Friedrich A. von Hayek Society are said to have met on this extensive area in recent years. For three years, Huss has also been supporting the extreme right-wing Dane Emil Kirkegaard, who also lives on the premises of the guesthouse on Lehnitzsee called Landhaus Adlon. In the country house Adlon, the private villa of Mathilda Huss and her partner as well as the other property, other right-wing extremists such as the new right-wing strategist Götz Kubitschek, the editor-in-chief of the Compact magazine, Jürgen Elsässer, and activists of the Identitarian movement such as Martin Sellner, Mario Müller or Simon Kaupert may have been guests. Kaupert lives in Reinsberg, Saxony. Representatives of the ethnic right-wing extremist wing in the AfD such as Dennis Hohloch and Stefan Kotré are also said to have visited Mathilda Huss in Potsdam; Gunnar Lindemann shot videos on the property's premises. Several eyewitnesses confirmed this to ZEIT ONLINE in affidavits; some of them can prove the visits with chats, photos and videos.
Emil Kirkegaard now apparently lives in the guesthouse called Landhaus Adlon which is a meeting place for far-right extremists including the white nationalist wing of the AfD party). 103.50.33.217 (talk) 01:14, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
