Hey buddy[edit]
Mind helping me out here? This guy seems a bit into "vegan woo", if you get my drift ("rationally superior"...?). Said as someone who respects your non-woo vegan outlook enormously (see the talk page), and who has nothing against actual veganism itself whatsoever (though I do have a lot against woo and panacea-mongering). All the best, Reverend Black Percy (talk) 16:41, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for thinking I can be entrusted with handling this dispute - I also dislike the choice of words which definitely doesn't arise from this person's imperfect English skills. This guy doesn't get that making such absolutist blanket statements makes you look like a clown/zealot which has been my main gripe with the proposed paragraph from the beginning.
- I was really planning on editing other articles first which seem more important to me personally but as I also see a need to put this issue to rest, I guess I'll need to familiarize myself again with most of the vegan talking points, studies, etc. I'm going to have a look at it when I get the time. ∈ NameThatNobodyTakes (✎) 22:14, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
- Trust well earned by your friendly but stern attitude towards what is apparent woo! I knew he was hoping to polarize things into "anti-vegans are the ones reverting, rally all vegans to cherry pick under my banner!". But that kind of failed when you did all the eloquent. Never mind that any "anti-vegan sentiment" completely failed to materialize. We were all like, "nutrition and physiology is really complicated, especially at this intersection of ethics, science and psychology". Speaking of woo... Your thoughts? All the best, your pal Reverend Black Percy (talk) 22:20, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
- I hope my reply takes care of the Veganism dispute for now, I can't see how the guy will still press for his paragraph to be added without repeating his same arguments again.
- As for the WHO report, it's hard to fathom how it even ended up getting published. I don't know if I should laugh or cry about it. Anyway, your write-up was humorous (even though I haven't read the original report yet) and as it was suggested on the talk page already, you should convert it into a side-by-side article and/or let the WHO know about it (if they pay attention, that is). ∈ NameThatNobodyTakes (✎) 18:42, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
- If you don't mind, I have explored the net and I have found a vegan site that may assist you, it is called Boycott Meat. Also, I found this video on the "intersectional" connections between animal oppression and racism against black people.--Owlman (talk) (mail) 04:22, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
- Of course I don't mind, thanks for the pointers, Owlman! I will keep the links in mind when I decide on updating the Veganism article. ∈ NameThatNobodyTakes (✎) 09:50, 8 August 2016 (UTC)

Are you familiar with the Anti-Germans?[edit]
As a group or ideology? https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antideutsche http://www.cafecritique.priv.at/antideutsch.html First, what do you think about them? Second do you think RW should have an article on them? Third would you consider yourself opposed, allied or indifferent to them? 149.210.131.21 (talk) 01:06, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Never heard of Anti-Germans before you mentioned it which says much because I would consider myself somewhat knowledgeable about left wing politics. After reading about it I would say I'm pretty indifferent to it as it doesn't seem to be really noteworthy of paying attention to because it seems to be rather loose in ideology and grouping. While I agree that an increase in German nationalism has happened ever since the GDR merged into the FRG, this current seems to follow similar trends of borrowing right-wing talking points like the Islamophobia of the few dozen men strong Jewgida or the leftist neoconservatism of Christopher Hitchens. I'm refractory towards the pledged "unconditional support" of Israel as that is what I deem very "regressive" and irrational - the right to live in a specific place, yes, I can get behind that 100% but using forms of imperialism on its direct neighbors which goes beyond any acceptable definition of defense, ugh, no.
- Is it worthy of getting its own article? I kinda say yes, but only for being an odd example of the Horseshoe theory, which however would only be a short article barely edging out a stub. But before this would get an article it would be far more interesting to create one about Anti-Americanism, not really because Anti-Germans are opposed to it (and therefore needs to be mentioned in an article about them), but because I believe it is a far more widespread and worldwide phenomenon which you could basically describe as the cute little sibling of Anti-Semitism with which it usually goes hand in hand.
- However thanks for bringing to my attention something I was completely unaware about.
- Conclusively I gotta say that having lived through the foreigner experience in Germany, that you could sign me up for being virulently opposed to German privilege though. ∈ NameThatNobodyTakes (✎) 13:21, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
Just in case[edit]
you missed this. All the best, Reverend Black Percy (talk) 13:27, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
- Aptly put. This noon I've been cleaning up after some of the crappy edits left by the editor in question. ∈ NameThatNobodyTakes (✎) 13:53, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
- As have I. You're doing Goat's work, son. Reverend Black Percy (talk) 14:06, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
Vote![edit]
If you think Laurogeita Hamabost is a sockpuppet of AvengeroftheBoN, and you wish to rein in his destructive behavior, you should vote to vandalbin him in the Chicken Coop. Right now, the vandal bin option is losing, but with your support we might win. PBfreespace (talk) 21:41, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
