Talk:Godlike Productions
Closed?[edit]
At the moment, this is on the homepage:
“”The Kingdom of God is inside you, and all around you, not in mansions of wood and stone. Split a piece of wood and I am there; lift a stone and you will find me.
For the book has been closed, The names have been written, Judgement cometh. And it was known to them in those days that there would come upon them the judgement of the children of God, who had lived among them as men and learned of their ways and tested their hearts. |
A little bit of searching found this video at YouTube and this thread at Above Top Secret.
Bummer. I had some "pearls" bookmarked, I should have saved/screenshotted them. --ZooGuard (talk) 08:32, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
Apparently the owner got in a row with a moderator that turned into real-life harassment, and the owner pulled down the site in a fit of rage. It may come back when he calms down or the harassment situation resolves. ATS threads: [1] [2] [3] --ZooGuard (talk) 08:50, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
Aaaand it's back. --ZooGuard (talk) 07:27, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
BoN comments moved to talk page.[edit]
BoN (did I use that acronym correctly?) left this comment: GLP is a military psy-op. Google "godlikeproductions tavistock jason" and you'll see there's more negative comments than positive comments. Just visit the website for a week. You'll find that most of the moderators are anti-conspiracy and even make fun of conspiracies, lots of government shills (PACNW) get free speech while others seeking facts and spreading censored facts get banned, and auto-ban for certain words, such as "tavistock" which a member of the committee of 300, and lots of others have dug deep into how gld is run, such as what servers and where the domains are registered and ip numbers, etc, and as soon as they publish that they're related to military, the threads are erased within a few minutes. En attendant Godot 20:56, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
- I know people at GLP and ATS do laugh at conspiracies as much as endorse them, that much is obvious every time a flat Earther turns up. But military psy ops? ADK...I'll recollect your ramen noodle! 15:32, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
- ROFLMAO! PsyOps, as if they had time to play with idiots sites. Not like there's a war going on or some information warfare going on at all, huh? Oh, well, at least we can get a laugh out of them, they have an outlet and don't feel the need to arm themselves and all.Wzrd1 (talk) 05:08, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
GLP Observatory "open" beta testing[edit]
I did mention that they were making a remote-controlled observatory, didn't I? Well, it's finally ready for testing: [4] Requires an account, so if you have an e-mail address to sacrifice, feel free to go in an report...--ZooGuard (talk) 12:43, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
“”Wait a second, is this a telescope from Earth or one of those satellites floating around the moon?
|
- Someone actually said that on the thread. Really. pathetic 16:45, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
- Given that Trinity posted construction photos when they were pouring the foundations and the observatory has come up pretty often since then, this is one extra clueless morAn. Did you see **Breaking** FIRST UFO on GLP Observatory!! Comet/Object Flying Through Space!!? It's a satellite, and Astronut even identified it.--ZooGuard (talk) 17:45, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
GLPers comment on this page[edit]
Or more exactly, on a single sentence: http://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message1859432/pg1 --ZooGuard (talk) 07:28, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- I'm mostly amused by how some seem to agree. pathetic 11:32, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- The fun part for me is that this is not the first time CTs agree with my description of their website: here's ATS on the Comet Elenin article. The section in question looked like this: [5]. I reworded it a bit after that.--ZooGuard (talk) 16:38, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- LOL, they had to look up the meaning of 'obtuse' . ГенгисYou have the right to be offended; and I have the right to offend you. 17:45, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
- I know. It's like they've never taken a geometry class. Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 17:50, 7 May 2012 (UTC)

Whatever problems the skeptical movement has with women...[edit]
...at least they don't get as low as that.--ZooGuard (talk) 22:21, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
- Unless you're the AmazingAtheist. Also, it's almost funny how, when reading the suggestions, Report Abusive Post takes on a whole new meaning.--"Shut up, Brx." 22:25, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
left of each GLP page[edit]
I looked mom the left of the Godlike Productions news headlines
http://endtimeheadlines.org/uncategorized/scientists-sound-alarm-sugar-source-disease/
Let me say I am not disappointed.
A CHEMTRAIL PILOT SPEAKS PUT![edit]
Yes, it's another rant by GoodFight310 which has been moved to Forum:Cult of Satorn: A Conspiracy Theory for an easy overview of this particular case of crank magnetism by your friendly crank collector, ScepticWombat (talk) 08:11, 16 January 2015 (UTC)
Subjective bias[edit]
“”In the case of GLP there's the particular allegation that it is associated with the Tavistock Institute[3] (which in itself has its separate place in the world of conspiracy theorists). As a result, the owner is so pissed off by the allegations that posting the name "Tavistock" will result in an automatic ban.

My proposed edit for more objectivity:
“”In the case of GLP there's the particular allegation that it is associated with the Tavistock Institute[3] and posting the name "Tavistock" will result in an automatic ban.
|
Why should this bit stay on the page? It is a presumptuous to say that "Tavistock" is a banned word because the owner is pissed off about the allegations, along with the implication that they are false. --72.223.111.221 (talk) 07:01, 12 March 2015 (UTC)
- RationalWiki is also associated with the Tavistock Institute.--CIA (talk) 07:40, 12 March 2015 (UTC)

- It's not that hard to imagine a Conspiracy Theorist to be pissed about being accused of being in the cahoots with... Them. Go on a site (Other than GLP) that is just as nutty.. Say, Abovetopsecret or Lunatic Outpost, and accuse them of the same thing. See what happens.--Pokefrazer (talk) 18:37, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
- It's also not that hard to imagine them being involved with Them. It works both ways, so I'm trying to be more objective here. --72.223.111.221 (talk) 18:42, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
- I meant baseless accusations of them working for Them. Hence [citation needed].--Pokefrazer (talk) 18:45, 19 March 2015 (UTC)

Right, because this bickering was getting on my nerves and flooding the Recent Changes page, I tried an alternate wording. This good? Noir LeSable (talk) 18:46, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
- This BoN has been tone/concern trolling on many pages and edit warring for quite some time. I vote mop :| Trick (talk) 18:48, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
- Much as I don't like the terms "tone trolling/concern trolling", I'm inclined to agree. Noir LeSable (talk) 19:14, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
The Tavistock Institute has a number of conspiracy theories surrounding it, like Dr. John Coleman's self-published The Tavistock Institute of Human Relations. I don't see a reason to remove that parenthetical. Noir LeSable (talk) 19:14, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
- Ok, I didn't quite understand that it was referring to the Tavistock Institute particularly.--72.223.111.221 (talk) 19:26, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
