Topic[edit]

Has anybody heard of the Lavender Town syndrome, as related to Gen 1 Pokemon games?: http://anime.stackexchange.com/questions/2679/how-true-is-the-lavender-town-syndrome

Should we be describing/debunking very popular urban myths like that one? Nullahnung (talk) 05:29, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

Ah, good old Lavender Town. I would say that it would be on mission pertaining to audio woo; there's nothing particularly dangerous about binaural beats except for the risk of seizure (for epileptics). Osaka Sun (talk) 05:54, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
Don't you mean creepy old Lavender Town, Osaka? :-) Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 05:55, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
I'll stick with the Gold/Silver version, thanks. Osaka Sun (talk) 06:11, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

PETA[edit]

"And, for some reason, PETA has had no issue over a game where wild creatures are captured and forced to battle. They then released a "parody" game on the day of release of Black 2 and White 2, proving again that they don't do any research."

Research about what?--Кřěĵ (ṫåɬк) 06:00, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

Their parody suggests that characters don't care about the wellbeing of their Pokemon, but in fact the player characters all do, and only villains are shown not caring for their Pokemon. To someone who's played G5 games, the PETA parody is obviously uninformed. Wehpudicabok [話] [変] 06:03, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
Oh.--Кřěĵ (ṫåɬк) 06:05, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
You know, I think I'll add that to the article. It's certainly not clear as it stands now. Wehpudicabok [話] [変] 06:07, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

Psychics are real in Pokemon[edit]

Are we not going to address that, in the world of Pokemon, Ghosts, Psychics, and gods are real and verifiable? — Unsigned, by: 99.169.227.71 / talk / contribs

It is a fictional universe, therefore no. Nullahnung (talk) 08:11, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

Wait, what?! Fiction?! My worldview is crumbling. 208.29.163.248 (talk) 10:54, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

Ignore Nullahnung's lies, POKEMON ARE REAL. Otherwise how do you explain this CONCLUSIVE VIDEO EVIDENCE???? Wehpudicabok [話] [変] [留] 11:07, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

That video is obviously faked. By the Nixon administration. Directed by Kubrick. Duh! I thought this was RATIONALwiki! 208.29.163.248 (talk) 11:27, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

I want to say that gods are not a thing there. Yes, some Pokémon have godly powers, but dats it---Deli-delibirda! (talk) 14:34, 25 December 2019 (UTC)

pokemon shock[edit]

I think the "pokemon shock" section may be overstated.

Snopes states that most of those affected were more likely the result of mass hysteria.Hubert (talk) 17:49, 10 August 2019 (UTC)

Made the edits to address this. --It's-a me, Lgm sigpic.png LeftyGreenMario! 18:25, 10 August 2019 (UTC)

Error[edit]

I added a note to the PeTA section but it won't show up. Why?!--Delibirda (talk) 09:00, 30 October 2019 (UTC)

You need to add a "notes" section at the end, similar to the "references" section. I can't remember exactly how to do it, but if you find another page with notes you can copy it from there. --Annanoon (talk) 10:07, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
There's a template at the bottom of the editing window, ==Notes== {{reflist|group=note}}, which automatically adds the section. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 12:17, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
I've also added the template. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 12:18, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
Thank you.--Delibirda (talk) 08:26, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
