2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Project[edit]

Mainly because of the pushback we have been receiving over this and other articles and other drama NO it will not be linked DO NOT ASK IF YOU DO NOT KNOW LET US FORGET IT ALL. We have decided to form RationalWiki:Project Social Justice. It's still making baby-steps, but I thought I'd mention it here in case anybody else is interested. The basic point is that we are trying to add science and other academic sources to the current SJ articles. Including this one. So, we are trying to make all SJ articles as clear, on-mission, and free from pseudoscience as we can. ·Femilisk 09:52, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

Our purpose here at RationalWiki includes:
Analyzing and refuting pseudoscience and the anti-science movement;
Documenting the full range of crank ideas;
Explorations of authoritarianism and fundamentalism;
Analysis and criticism of how these subjects are handled in the media.
I missed the part that said 'except for anti-science crank authoritarian pseudo-religions that you approve of?' And this boys and girls (and otherkin pansexual demiqueers) is why the rationalists fled rationalwiki. 121.210.33.50 (talk) 10:14, 6 August 2017 (UTC)
This was written three years ago, the user who wrote it has long since left and RationalWiki:Project Social Justice is inactive. Some of our articles do promote pseudoscience though. Christopher (talk) 10:30, 6 August 2017 (UTC)
