child abuse[edit]

The difference is, we know it's a joke, we know it's not actual child abuse.--"Shut up, Brx." 05:36, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

We should use that term sparingly, especially in mainspace. Although the BoN should take note that he/she/it is not making any friends around here by saying "I thought this was RationalWiki here." Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 05:41, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
I just thought that if we looked as dumb as Schlafly does, rather than actually being funny (like this edit of mine: http://rationalwiki.org/w/index.php?title=Same-sex_marriage&diff=prev&oldid=824121) and informative (the pages about homeopathy ... I never knew much about it until I came to this site!), it would give our enemies ammo to use against us, like the talking point: "They equate religion with child abuse -> they want to take away freedom of religion." 74.89.192.173 (talk) 05:59, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
