Hi hope you have fun here.--Bobbing for apples 14:40, 23 October 2007 (EDT)
- Hello CheFan! I read your userpage, and I was pretty much in the same situation; hadn't visited CP until I found this site. I can vouch that this is a good site to be on =D ♠ ŖєuĻєəux ♠say wнäτ? 14:57, 23 October 2007 (EDT)
- Thank you for the welcome! I'm just happy I found this place I can't believe how ignorante those conservatives are!!! CheFan 18:14, 23 October 2007 (EDT)
- Welcome to the Dollhouse! You know we should denounce you as the supporter of a mass murderer, right? human 00:36, 24 October 2007 (EDT)
- Thanks for the welcome. Can I be Ken? Are you going to denounce me for my beliefs? Che may have been violent, but they don't call you a revolutionary for sitting around and watching tv right? I mean you can't get on a shirt for being a loser -- oh nevermind, I guess you can. :p CheFan 00:49, 24 October 2007 (EDT)
- Che may have been violent, but so were George Washington, & many other revered figures. I just wanted to provide some balance, as a confirmed leftie on a site that is technically not taking sides, politically. Just debunking stupidity. I fight for that cause here, while remaining very much in the socialist camp. I thank you for taking my comment with large dose of humor and perspective. Gee, darn the left for being so smaht!!! human 01:28, 24 October 2007 (EDT)
- I've seen some evidence that Che went a bit beyond what was necessary for a "revolutionary", and actually reveled in violence. But, I've not made a study of Latin American revolutions (only the Chinese one) so I'm not for sure. I do find it funny how many trust fund babies at my college adored Che, but wouldn't have been caught dead with a Castro or Ho shirt. (Considering how much more successful Ho was, you'd think more people would like him...) Researcher 03:40, 24 October 2007 (EDT)
- Well, I do admire Castro for the education and medical care teh Cubans "enjoy". As with any dictator, I don't admire him for the suppression of dissent. As far as Che is concerned, apparently he employed, shall we say "extra-judicial" techniques while running a post-revolutionary prison in Cuba. (According to wikipedia, a bastion of liberal deceit, as we know) I'd put Abu Ghraib (sp?) and the current inmates at Guantanamo up against that any time. Not that I excuse either!!! Both are wrong. And two wrongs don't make a right. human 08:33, 24 October 2007 (EDT)
- No, but 3 lefts do! CheFan 10:19, 24 October 2007 (EDT)

Small midwestern school...[edit]
Wouldn't happen to be in the vicinity of Cleveland? I went to an uber-liberal school near there, and loved every minute of it. Researcher 22:15, 23 October 2007 (EDT)
- Nope. My school has its ultra-liberal factions, but unfortunately it also has it's fair share of loonies. I learned quickly to hang out with the right people and I'm much better off for it CheFan 23:30, 23 October 2007 (EDT)
- Ah. No, at my school the leftists were far more visible and vocal than the right wing loony. (Yes, I do mean to use the singular.) Researcher 23:36, 23 October 2007 (EDT)
- Ha ha, I wish! CheFan 00:54, 24 October 2007 (EDT)

- Here's one way: http://www.rationalwiki.com/wiki/Special%3AAllpages&from=&namespace=6 Oh, and you should put all that sig stuff in a subpage of your user page and just transclude it. To save space. Ask how if that is too oblique. Most of us know how. human 18:18, 24 October 2007 (EDT)
- Oh thanks for the link!
- As for the sig, I wanted it on my userpage to save myself a click if I wanted to add items later... but it wasn't working. I copied it into a subpage and everything seems to be working now, as you can see. CheFanwins! 19:12, 24 October 2007 (EDT)
- Well, the sig is "working", but it also takes up 10 or so lines each time you use it. See how I did mine? I have a file called user:Human/sigtalk which contains all the option stuff. Works the same as yours, without taking up as much space when used. Some people put all their sig info in a sub file, making things even neater. It's no big deal, of course, western civ. will survive! human 19:54, 24 October 2007 (EDT)
- OOOOH! When I hit "show preview" none of that showed up so I thought I was doing it right :) I did create a subpage though (User:CheFan/sig) and put all my sig stuff in there. I can't see the difference between mine and yours, so I must have set the prefs wrong? The nickname is currently {{SUBST:User:CheFan/sig}} (the little thingy is checked). Grrr I will figure out this challenge! --User:CheFan
