Not in the tree!--Greeneggs (talk) 04:55, 24 June 2014 (UTC)

Okay; found the user sandbox, but is there an easier way to just 'get there' than ging to my 'contributions' list to find it? (And how do you add another 'nother user sandbox page? I'd like to drag my bits that way to de-gobbledigook or torch in my own backyard here. A visual map/file tree of the real layout of this joint would be so helpful. I suppose there's spiderwebs everywhere.--Greeneggs (talk)
Easiest way I know of, is use a sandbox in your user space, like this: [[User:Greeneggs/Sandbox]] which sends you to User:Greeneggs/Sandbox. If you want a different one, you can name it whatever you want, such as User:Greeneggs/Scratch pad. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 03:00, 27 June 2014 (UTC)

References in talk pages[edit]

References in talk pages tend to futz up the formatting. If you must, you can wrap them in nowiki tags, so the link will be visible but not clickable, and won't need a references/ section somewhere below.

In your own user space sandbox(es) you can put references and footnotes to your heart's delight. Does all that make sense? Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 04:31, 27 June 2014 (UTC)
