WTF?? Has no one welcomed you? Well, let me be the first to say welcome to the cesspit of the internet. Tetronian you're clueless 03:52, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Why, thank you. One thing I have always admired about this wiki is its editors eagerness to welcome new editors. In absentia 04:02, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
Well yes, we do jump at the opportunity to confuse and amuse people with our unique welcomes. Anyway welcome to the wiki. Stay a while, stay forever. Tetronian you're clueless 04:04, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Vote for Mei.

Welcome to the wiki which can be expressed as Mei! Sit down your suitcases and strech back. -- =w= 04:11, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

That's a very amusing - and indeed useful - friendly "hello". This user thinks Mei is useful. In absentia 02:06, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Thank you. Mei can't work out who you are though. It is confusing. -- =w= 02:24, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
It is indeed. Are all the "In ____"-'s your socks? Tetronian you're clueless 02:26, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
It's not hard to figure out. This is user:human while he figures out how not to be an asshole when complaining about authoritarianism on RW. Since he utterly failed the last few days. And no one else cared at being told "ye shall not edit this magic template". So this is me in absentia. In absentia 02:54, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Oh, I'm sorry Huw. I didn't realize. Well, I hope you come back as "you" soon. Tetronian you're clueless 03:16, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
1. No need to apologize. 2. Thank you, I hope to do so as soon as possible, and 2b., well I tried last night and didn't do very well. Thanks for the well wishes, I appreciate them, and really do hope to be able to return soon. In absentia 03:20, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Mei thought you were Human, but then Mei thought "wait Human wouldn't block himself for restraint and then hop into another account". You must be new to the selfblocking game. -- =w= 03:23, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Mei was correct at first, but surely Mei also knows human is an RW addict. Editing with a temporary user name helps me "not be human" who has problems and is still a bit angry and doesn't want to make a bigger ass of himself than he already has. In absentia 03:26, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
I can sympathize. Mei often gets angry. Although Mei doesn't really know why you're currently angry. Was Nx being authoritarian when he helped replace the server? That's a lot more of a change than making some templates prettier. -- =w= 03:34, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
This is a far cry from my original topic of whelks. ^___^ -- =w= 03:35, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
(this got EC'd out, I just caught it) Nx has done many good things. Most of them were "behind the scenes" - ie, he made the site faster, thicker, longer, and uncut, or something like that. Human has anger issues over the way the messagebox template was instituted - with no discussion beforehand, and no opportunity for making it really good. Ah, so, well. Human stays in the background while they figure out a way to 1. apologize to Nx and 2. present the "case" for their disillusionment. In absentia still thinks Mei is useful, though. I understand why you're pissed, perhaps because I've been here longer than most. I'm not sure there will be a good way to resolve it..... Sterile zealot 04:00, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Thank you Sterile. Time, I think, will be the cure. Right now I am trying to avoid coming in as human and making things worse, but of course it's hard not to check in on what's going on here. Hence this utterly transparent "sockpuppet" that lets me participate while "not being human". I'm sure (I hope) a few more days will heal the wound. Thanks for checking in.
