Sometime soon[edit]
You should probably read the sysop guide, just in case... Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 16:29, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
- I probably suffer from that common disorder of not really reading instructions...--Teslashark (talk) 16:34, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
- OK, then, using your own common sense will probably be enough. If you use your sysop powerz in poorly chosen ways, the mob will not hesitate to let you know. :-) Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 16:40, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
- Liabilities! I'll try not to own them.

Command economies[edit]
About whether Tesla is a command economy - "an economic model in which the government instructs factories and farms what goods to produce and how much of them, and usually also sets the prices of goods in the marketplace." If you replace "the government" with "Musk", the rest of the sentence is still in place for Tesla. Tesla does not discuss prices with its customers or use dealers that interact with the market. --Teslashark (talk) 16:50, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
- Ya, but Musk isn't the government, and all the other examples were nations. I once worked alongside a Russian fellow who had some interesting stories about how manufacturing worked, or didn't work, under a regime with central planning in place. The workflow followed a hurry-up-and-wait pattern, he said. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 17:03, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
- They are all bodies of economy, and producers that doesn't exactly make income from the market.--Teslashark (talk) 03:37, 14 July 2014 (UTC)
- That discussion will get better exposure to interested editors at Talk:Command economy. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 04:03, 14 July 2014 (UTC)
