Blog[edit]
Nutty tells me you have linked "my" blog to yours. Just a heads up that it isn't my blog, I have never had a blog and never plan to. A friend of mine and I were thrashing around interesting names awhile back when we were going to a party that we were not invited. I was Ace McWicked and he was Handsome B. Wonderful. He, later, used my name as a blog ID. Just a heads up. Acei9 18:49, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

Moon landing[edit]
I see someone doesn't like Moon landing deniers, haha. The whole idea strikes me as ridiculous - what do they have to gain by asserting that we never landed on the Moon? Even something as crazy as creationism has a motive: Biblical inerrancy is essential to the moral system that fundamentalists base their lives on, so they must protect its legitimacy. The anti-Moon landing people, however, don't really gain anything from their belief. So why do they do it? Attention? Perhaps, but that doesn't explain why they actually believe in such bullshit to begin with. In any case, they're pretty damn annoying. Not really sure where I'm going with this rant, but there you have it. Tetronian you're clueless 02:47, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- What gets me is that they think that the combined governments of the world have some sort of agenda and the ability to fool everyone. One thing governments are is porous - since the 60s there would have been so many leaks, we'd have known, not just a few suspected. Wazzocks! yummy & honey(or marmalade) 02:53, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- If there is an agenda, I have no idea what it would be. What the hell do they gain from pretending that we landed on the Moon? It's not like doing so increased government control in any way. I'm puzzled as to the motive. (Because, let's face it, all conspiracy theories and woo have some sort of a motive). Tetronian you're clueless 02:58, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- I've no idea: just that "people are lying to us" - persecution complex? yummy & honey(or marmalade) 03:06, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- Most woo misters and conspiracy theorists seem to be in it for the money; flogging dodgy books, dvds and woo related products. They rely on people picking this stuff up and running with it, most people are meme-carriers for the bullshit merchants. - π 03:09, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- there would have been some sound political reasons for ensuring success. With JFKs challange and the cold war with Russia an American failure may have been destabilizing. What I find as supporting evidence suggestive of a fake program is the lack of dead astronouts on the moon or in space. Its not great or even good evidence but it seems odd when compared to other projects of similar newness. Hamster (talk) 16:36, 22 February 2010 (UTC)

Lime Jelly voting[edit]
Ello there. You voted in the famous Lumpy Jerboa bi-election, but there's some confusion as to who voted and who just commented. If you only intended to comment, can you modify your post on the RationalWiki:May 2010 Loya Jirga by-elections by adding a strikethrough tag to it? e.g.
<s>My earlier comment</s>
You can leave your post as is if you were actually voting.

I know it's in our dyslexicon, but do you think anyone but you and I actually know what it means? Hope you're enjoying the holiday weekmid. ħuman 12:39, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
- I know where it comes from. Although that's because Toast mentioned it on Teflpedia and I recognised the lyric from the teaser for the ending of Season 2 of Ashes to Ashes, so I Googled it. MARCVS ANTONIVS 12:52, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
