## I'm tired....

And here I thought you were re-tired. Did you waken up? Or is this a temporary "I'm still alive" fling? The Goonie 1 What's this button do? Uh oh.... 18:14, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

You misunderestimated the true meaning of Leaving and Never Coming Back. Totnesmartin (talk) 19:22, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

## Maths

x = r X cos(Θ). y = r X sin(Θ) polar coordinates. NO BEARS. Тиранесbescumber oxide, enumerate reindeer? 16:14, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

I see a cos and a sin in there. Is it some kind of cosplay fetish? Totnesmartin (talk) 16:20, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
Cos is short for cosine. sin is short of sine. They have to do with triangles. Go to Wikipedia and learn trig. It isn't that hard, I taught it to myself. Тиранесstink neck, hurt bell-end? 16:23, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
No, I did it in school and it's been completely useless to me ever since. Totnesmartin (talk) 16:28, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
FINE. Anyway, classic movie for you: It! The terror from beyond space Тиранесexplode university, plagiarize houseplant? 16:34, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

## WIGO:World

That Mitt Romney story sounds interesting. If only there was some kind of handy link so I could find out more about it... ;-) –SuspectedReplicant retire me 10:09, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Ah, but if you were on Totnes' wavelength, he just beams the story straight into your head. Admittedly, along with several other images, that will have me screaming at 3am, but that's another story... --Ψ GremlinFale! 10:13, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

## Simon

Just found this on Flickr. He was suggested to me as a possible "contact". I thought nothing of it until something rang a bell!

Just sayin'

That's Simon Murphy, A Band regular, boyf of fat activist Charlotte Cooper, inventor of weird noise gadgets and all-round lovely chap. Totnesmartin (talk) 09:47, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

## Ouch

Your block actually hit me. I was like "whoa!" Mei III (talk) 20:57, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

no harm was meant. I hardly ever get caught out by 31-second blocks. mainly because I dither about with my edits so the 31 seconds are long gone before i press save. Totnesmartin (talk) 21:04, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I saw that *after* I posted. Who are you? Totnesmartin (talk) 22:08, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
Roger Bunting, who else? --Scream!! (talk) 22:11, 10 April 2011 (UTC)

## Visitor

I removed your post about me staying at Susan's because it was out of place amongst all the tributes. All I can say is that you might think so but I couldn't possibly comment. ГенгисIs the Pope a Catholic? 11:52, 12 April 2011 (UTC)

I must have dreamt it then :) Totnesmartin (talk) 15:19, 12 April 2011 (UTC)

You have much learning, O fair maiden. I wish to drink from the fount of knowledge, or failing that, subscribe to your newsletter. Totnesmartin (talk) 07:40, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
First you must Find the Fish. Where could that fishy be? Mei III (talk) 07:46, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
assuming I have three guesses, my first guess is: behind the bookcase that reveals a hidden door when you pull out the works of Alexander Pope. Totnesmartin (talk) 07:48, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
You have found: ... some jars of jam! Very sweet and tasty. However, they are not fish. Please Find the Fish. Mei III (talk) 07:51, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
My second guess is: disguised as a .wav file on the smartmedia card in my sampler. Totnesmartin (talk) 07:54, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
Impossible to verify. Stalemate. Mei III (talk) 08:00, 14 April 2011 (UTC)

## You

Can never leave this place. Nice to see you back. ТyTalk. 12:09, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

It is nice to see me back! Totnesmartin (talk) 12:12, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
That clematis is coming on nicely. Jack Hughes (talk) 12:15, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
Is it? I've moved since that was taken. Totnesmartin (talk) 12:17, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
I grow my clematis up into evergreen shrubs. Flowering Chamaecyparis ftw! Oh, and nice to see you here again! Don't worry, we'll have the site back to normal in a few hours. Don't forget the party at my user page for the 4th animalversary on or about 5/20-21 or so. ħuman 02:00, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
Oh, great. The apocalypse coincides with RW's anniversary. What will I wear? steriletalk 02:17, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
That should be obvious. ТyTalk. 02:32, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

I am very pleased to see you have returned. Would you like to join me in a wee dram? Ace of Spades 04:19, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

A wee dram of what? A bandmate used to be a teacher in SE Asia and consumed all sorts of stuff. Come to think of it, that's why he went... Totnesmartin (talk) 08:22, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
hey man, we can have a dram of whatever you choose. Ace of Spades 11:01, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

## Translation?

"nix carborundum aliquando utor" - as my Latin is non-existent, Google doesn't know anything, Wikipedia just asked for some weird stuff and Google translate just gave me "Snow still be friends at any time to use the", I wanna ask: What? --ǓḤṂ³ 20:07, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

it was supposed to be "don't let occasionaluse grind you down" but I much prefer Snow still be friends at any time to use the. Totnesmartin (talk) 20:09, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
Actually it was a protest block against that stupid edit war. But thanks for the support. --ǓḤṂ³ 20:54, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

## Weirdness

When I checked in this morning, I still had block abilities despite not being on the list of sysops. Then they randomly disappeared. Changes might just take a bit to take effect when they're done through the database. ThunderkatzHo! 21:14, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

Hmm, maybe. It's a bit much for the server to digest all at once perhaps. Totnesmartin (talk) 21:17, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

## Come on back!

Seriously, Trent's working on the issues, and the only way this wiki will survive if we have productive editors, and I know you're one of them. We can deal with the bullshitters; yes, it's been miserable for a bit, but if all the good one's leave, it'll get worse. Just think about it. steriletalk 01:13, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
