Devin Patrick Kelley (1991-2017) was the perpetrator of the Sutherland Springs Church Shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas. He was part of the Atomwaffen Division, a far-right hate group.[1] He was originally in the Air Force, but he was discharged. The Air Force failed to stop Kelley from purchasing guns on several occasions.[2] Kelley was an atheist and he was said to be an outcast.[3]

On November 5, 2017, he shot and killed 26 people, including himself, in Sutherland Springs, Texas, in what was the deadliest shooting in Texas history.[4] Around the time of the shooting, there was misinformation going around about the shooter by, to everybody nobody's surprise, the alt-right, claiming Kelley was a far-left supporter.
