2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

And a dirty dozen more

Suzanne Venker is an anti-feminist journalist blogger and pundit who writes articles propaganda for Fox News.

She is also the niece of Phyllis Schlafly and has co-written books with her, published by WND Books. Her writing is very much like what you would expect from a conservative member of the Schlafly family.

Examples of WTFery[edit]

In November 2012, Venker chimed in on Fox News' "War on Men", their attempt to rebrand the War on Women using an MRA tilt.[1] One is quick to note from the article that, unlike her cousin, she does not homeschool her children.

In February 2013, Venker asserted that in order to be happy in marriage, one must admit that men and women are not equal, spouting typical patriarchal heteronormative bullshit. The original article on FoxNews.com[2] gained a lot of recognition because a Twitter user pointed out that the wedding picture was of two women getting married.[3][4]

In February 2017, Venker wrote a piece claiming that society has bred "alpha women incapable of love". In her words: "women have become too much like men. They’re too competitive. Too masculine. Too alpha."[5] All of this before going on to talk about even more patriarchal/heteronormative bullshit.
