Edit war[edit]

there is an edit war going on over whether or not to call her a bimbo. Let’s settle it here once and for all before the page winds up protected. --Andrew5 mobile (talk) 16:25, 28 September 2021 (UTC)

It’s lame and doesn’t add anything. Pizza SLICE.gifChef Moosolini’s Ristorante ItalianoMake a Reservation 16:54, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
Personally, I don't think the joke is cool. One of the worst parts of some of our articles is that they often try to be offensive instead of informative and funny. GeeJayK (talk) 16:55, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
it a sexist joke added by a bon a week ago and was immediately reverted. a user i am unfamiliar reinserted it a couple of says later till i took it out earlier to today. there is no consensus to keep (or remove for that matter, thats all there was of it) and this is not an edit war. its lame sexist joke (would we tolerate calling a woman we like a 'bimbo'?) and lame stike through humour at that (we seem to have an unfficial kill on sight for such things). it should stay gone. mountains out of mole hills. It was added at 21:28 September 21 by an IP, and reverted by a mod 19 minutes later. Then at 01:17 on September 23, Patty Pat re-added it. Then you removed it today at 10:13, I reverted it at 10:28 and you re-added it at 15:14. All in all, there were 6 reversions (slow-mo edit war). So the question is, @Patty Pat, did you accidentially click to revert it? If you did that would solve this whole issue. --Andrew5 (talk) 17:45, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
We've been removing plenty of... "jokes" like this from our articles. We probably shouldn't add any new ones. Entirely distinct from vague concerns of sexism this just annoys my own aesthetics.-Flandres (talk) 17:48, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
Agree, keep it out. Bongolian (talk) 17:54, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
Ok, I was actually not aware of my involvement in this. There has to be an accident I did. I tend to just ignore Lauren anyway, but the more chaos that is ensuing, the more likely that we're gonna have to go into the Chicken Coop. I must have mistyped or did something, but I don't know. Quick answer: It was an accident --Patty Pat (talk) 18:01, 28 September 2021 (UTC)

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Ok, it appears consensus is in favor of leaving it out. Andrew5 mobile (talk) 18:24, 28 September 2021 (UTC)

Stan Lane[edit]

So one bit of silliness about Boebert that keeps popping up online is that her mother keeps insisting that Boebert's biological father is former pro wrestler Stan Lane. Even after a paternity test taken in 1990 stated that Lane couldn't be the father, Boebert's mother and Boebert herself still persisted that he was. Since debunking bullshit is part of the mission, perhaps someone would like to take a crack at adding this to the article? Here's some articles about it: https://melmagazine.com/en-us/story/lauren-boebert-stan-lane-paternity-dispute , https://www.rawstory.com/boebert-childhood/ , and https://youtu.be/ydimhUJXkgc --Paul S (talk) 14:46, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
