Talk:Marianne Williamson
TBH[edit]
Marianne seems like a rather capable candidate, and the interview with noted dipshit Dave Rubin really sold me on her, enough to make her my second or third choice after Bernie. — Oxyaena Harass 09:39, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
- It's weird though. Profoundly untrustworthy beliefs about the nature of reality, but basically sound moral reasoning. Better than most at least. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 18:39, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
Never before has this sentence been said[edit]
Papyrus was a good choice of font here. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 18:37, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- The fallback type face that shows up is Times New Roman or some other serif typeface. Are there more commonly-supported typefaces we can use for fallback? --It's-a me, 🎄LeftyGreenMario!🎄 21:20, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- Seems like the only stupid looking fallback font is comic sans. ikanreed 🐐Bleat at me 21:53, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
Politico[edit]
Politico has a hate-boner for Marianne now, publishing the first 2024 hit pieces on her. Politico got recently aquired by a Trump supporter named Mathias Döpfner who states he prays for Trump's re-election. Marianne historically (and currently) polls low among Democrats, but the Dems change their minds quickly. I remember many Southern Clinton supporters in 2008 Dem primary went from racist threats against Obama to wholeheartedly supporting Obama. There's a non-0 chance Marianne will be the only dedicated opponent of Biden given she's ideologically opposed to him and not a swiss cheese politician. If she really pushes her candidacy, she will likely get into legal tussles with the DNC over it like Nader did with Gore. Except Marianne is doing what she is "supposed to do" and running in the Dem Party as someone left-of-center 71.171.90.218 (talk) 02:05, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
I personally can't stand to listen to Marianne talk, but she might end up as the only candidate in the 2024 election with a left-liberal platform (which is very detailed on her site) and also one who isn't a few years away from a natural death (though she is very old). Wish someone young and capable with positions similar to Williamson/Sanders/Stein etc would run tbh 71.171.90.218 (talk) 02:17, 18 March 2023 (UTC)

- My comment was in reply to Oxy. Before ya'll purged all the actual knowledgeable lefties who worked in politics like Ravens/Oxy/Neily on the site and left braindead, autistic teenage redditors and a disguised Bush-era neoliberal 71.171.90.218 (talk) 03:11, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
- >"There's a non-0 chance Marianne will be the only dedicated opponent of Biden "
- Sadly, no. Chillpilled (talk) 05:50, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
