Should we add McConnell's comments about getting Obama out of office, or does that just feed the bullshit proposition we're Obama operatives? --TheLateGatsby (talk) 13:58, 5 October 2012 (UTC)

Oh god[edit]

I screw up the rollback. I have to manually undo the vandalism now. :( ClickerClock (talk) 08:48, 3 June 2017 (UTC)

I removed what I hope was all of it. Christopher (talk) 08:51, 3 June 2017 (UTC)

About his reaction to the Capitol riot and feud with tRump[edit]

Methinks we should add a section discussing that? Maybe also one about his inability to cope with people calling him "Moscow Mitch" or pointing out the fact jokingly suggesting that he's a turtle... --Goatspeed. How's my editingCircularREmail2.gifasoningMy experiments 19:21, 18 February 2021 (UTC)

We should probably wait a bit, see how things turn out.-Flandres (talk) 19:29, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
The nicknames are only really funny in small quantities. Getting caught up with them distracts from the fact the McConnell is a skilled bureaucrat and political strategist who can manipulate public perception with ease given the right conditions. His feud with Trump isn't so much a disagreement over policy so much as a spat over branding. Trump wants to go full throttle with the fashy shit, McConnell wants to tone it PR-wise back for the time being and switch to a different public face for the GOP. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 19:33, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
