There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity. |
Fighting pseudoscience isn't free. We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with ![]() ![]() |

Λ Laws of the Interbutts[edit]
(Godwin, but wrong) 1: As a discussion about Nazi Germany continues, the chances of Godwin's Law being used to end an argument increase proportional to the number of posts times pi. Lol jk, but the main part is probably true. It's more like a hypothesis.
(Banana Law) 2: As a YLYL thread on /b/ continues, the chances of that stupid banana increase 98.6% each post. They increase 1000000% once it is posted.
3: If you can think of the worst strawman for a group imaginable, there is at least 1 person worse than that.
4: If you can think of the worst person in a group imaginable, there is at least 1 strawman worse than that.
5: If HAARP is mentioned, at least 1 reply will mention conspiracy theories, unless you aren't anywhere they might be.
6: If someone calls you an SJW, you have not won until they have mentioned misandry or reverse racism. Or, if they call you a Communist.
7: Gamergate did some good, but were mostly misogynists. Don't forget either part of that.
8: If you call this wiki IrrationalWiki, you lose;we win.
9: If someone calls a post a "false flag", it was likely the crazier members of their own group. This applies to Gamergate. And probably more.
10: If this list has an 11th law, all glory to RationalWiki
11: ALL GLORY TO RATIONALWIKI! Lol.
12: I am done the list.
Edit filter[edit]
