RationalWiki's 2019 Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff – we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

If everyone who saw this today donated $5, we would meet our goal for 2020.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Donations so far: $1050Goal: $3000

I am sorry, you'll always be second best around here. Me, I am the best. Just ask anyone. Acei9 23:26, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Hey there Ben, and thanks for signing up here. If you care, I banged together an essay relating some of the thoughts the cryonics article and talk page here have filled my brain up with. Your comments on its talk page would be appreciated. ħumanUser talk:Human 22:40, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for your comments! I will try to make an intelligent reply when I have absorbed and digested them. ħumanUser talk:Human 02:13, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

essay commens[edit]

Hi Ben. Comments on essays should go on the talk page. I have moved your comments there. Cheers. --BobIt's cold! 19:06, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

To clarify the situation we have a number of different areas where people can write comments. Something written as an essay can only be edited by the original author and people must comment on the talk page. Something in mainspace can be edited by anybody. A debate page may be edited contributed to by anybody.
If you feel the need to start a longer dialogue than you feel would be appropriate on the talk page you can either write a counter-essay or start up a debate page. Thanks for joining in and I hope you have an interesting time here. --BobIt's cold! 19:16, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
