Thank you for demonstrating - once again - that it's *NOT* all about ethics in journalism. Doxys Midnight Runner (talk) 10:01, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

*puts on devil's advocate hat* Ah! But what if this account was a shill? An SJW perpetrating a false flag operation, all to discredit Gamergate! :O 141.134.75.236 (talk) 10:18, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
I'm not so crass as to pull the shill gambit, but this does reek pretty badly of I AM A TROLL rather than any genuine opinion, regardless of whether it was written by an SJW or not. (Alternatively, what if this account was a double-shill: an MRA posing as an SJW posing as a massive strawman MRA to discredit Gamerghazists? (or whatever you call anti-Gamergate) Where does it end?) Noir LeSable (talk) 10:29, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, that's possible. Maybe it was just some troll using the anti-feminism hype as a convenient excuse for vandalizing RW, or somesuch.
This reminds me of the simulation argument and the "But who created the Creator?/Where did God come from?" question. Whenever the authenticity of sensory input is questioned, it opens up an infinite amount of ways for it to be artificially created. And if sensory input is not to be trusted, who's to say the simulator in turn isn't being simulated (as well as the simulator of the simulator etc.)? With an infinite amount of possibilities for our reality to be fabricated, how is it even possible to think that our version of reality is the true, genuine one?
But let's not forget that the odds of the existence of an original, genuine reality is 100%, while fabricated reality scenarios are less certain, becoming increasingly unlikely the more complex they become. 141.134.75.236 (talk) 12:50, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
This user and their username and contribs are awesome. Landmartian (talk) 14:15, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
What if the entirety of reality is a facade constructed by the SJWs, who are in turn merely constructs of the Gamergator imagination, and only Gamergate really exists, making it 100% right for Gamergators right to care only about what affects them and treat the rest of reality as if it were a single bizarrely hostile punching bag? A theory I call: metajournalistical solipsism. (Agrajag (talk) 01:34, 15 January 2015 (UTC))
