Whee, you learn quick! I was about to use the {{wpl}} on that Carnegie ref, but you beat me to it. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 22:19, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
- Well, if you're new to a place, there's no reason not to read the newcomers' page, and reading that page, I saw that formatting thing, so I had a duty to change it. No biggie. Thanos6 (talk) 22:23, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
- Cool beans, and thanks again. If sometime you happen to find a more direct link to an outside source, that'd be even better. Some folks around here get an itchy trigger finger when they see a Wikipedia link. For me it's no biggie, but I can't speak for the whole mob. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 22:39, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
- I looked through the Wikipedia source list and all the sources seemed to support one side or the other; ironically, at the moment Wikipedia seems to be the most neutral collation of information on the subject, or at least that I could find. Thanos6 (talk) 22:43, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
- Ah, OK then. Makes perfect sense. Carry on... Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 22:49, 8 July 2014 (UTC)

Sorry to say[edit]
You are now one of the janitorial crew here. Don't go mixing the bleach with the ammonia, or we will all suffer. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 11:46, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
- Haha, well it doesn't look like it'll be as much fun as my long career of being a moderator and administrator at message boards, but I appreciate the honor all the same. Thanos6 (talk) 11:53, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
- Heh. You may think of it as an honor, if you like. Nice to see you've had relevant experience. The culture here seems to favor swatting vandals gently at first. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 12:00, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, so I see. Personally, I'll admit to being more of the "tough on crime" type myself (including vandalism, trolling, etc.), but I don't get to make the rules here, so once I get comfortable enough to start banning, I'll force my personal instincts/beliefs back and use the mini-bans. :) Thanos6 (talk) 12:09, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

Goddammit[edit]
You beat me to the story. I was about to post it under the headline "Troubling Transgender Tarheel Toilet Treatment Transgresses Title IX". Oh well.ℕoir LeSable (talk) 21:33, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
