Welcome to the cork soaker. Just curious, are you the MarkGall of Conservapedia? It doesn't realy matter, of course, and you don't have to answer if you don't wish to. Just a curiosity of mine.Punky Your mental puke relief 19:49, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Yes. MarkGall 19:50, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
I see. You will find that you are not the only Conservapedian here. Rob S also edits here now and then, and is even a sysop here. The Goonie Punk Can't sleep, clowns will eat me! 19:52, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Welcome, Mr. Gall. Please pardon our cork soakers and do enjoy your stay. — Sincerely, Neveruse513 / Talk / Block 19:55, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
I thought I recognised the name from somewhere... Scarlet A.pngpostate 19:55, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
CPAdmin1 also drops in now and then, but I don't recall seeing him anytime recently... Javasca₧ wasn't me! 20:10, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Impostor[edit]

A user at CP alerted me to the existence of someone using my username on this site. While I am flattered, this user is not in fact the same person as MarkGall at CP. I invite any CP admin with checkuser rights to verify that the IP address this post was made from is the same one used by MarkGall to edit CP. Additionally, while I appreciate the nomination for inaesthetics (and the fake MarkGall's defense of "my" layout), if you check the history you will find that I had absolutely nothing to do with designing the pages for the CBP. I believe much of that work was done by JacobB, so perhaps he should stand in my place if you insist on awarding this stupid prize at all. --18.111.42.225 20:18, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

We tend to treat this sort of thing with caution anyway. The above examples of CP editors with RW accounts have usually been verified through other means. Scarlet A.pngpostate 20:21, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
I think it was a ploy to get DouglasA to ungainly wield his banhammer some more. — Sincerely, Neveruse513 / Talk / Block 20:24, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
That could be. DouglasA is, slowly, becoming the new TK, in my opinion.Lord of the Goons The official spikey-haired skeptical punk 20:25, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
18? Isn't that MIT or something. I have my suspicions anyone editing from a class A network would not be pro-CP, that is thinking people territory. - π 00:34, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Either that or they have a parodist on their hands. Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 02:34, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Latter is many, many times more likely. --The Emperor Kneel before Zod! 02:42, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

I couldn't care less whether this guy ends up as MarkGall or NotMarkGall, but I'm happy to prove that I'm the real guy and he's not. If someone here will be so kind as to point out a vandalized article on CP I will log in as MarkGall and correct it. As for your unfounded accusations of parody, I think my many edits at CP speak for themselves. -- MarkGall (the other one, 18.251.5.130 03:09, 27 October 2009 (UTC))

cp:Joseph Farah RaoulDuke 03:10, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Very well. I just checked Recent Changes. Here is a pop culture article. Delete it, or ban the author, or nominate it for deletion, or warn the author. I don't really care, just do something. http://www.conservapedia.com/Awake(album) --The Emperor Kneel before Zod! 03:14, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

I'll have a look at it and let you'll see if there's any action. I can't say that's a problem or not. MarkGall 03:18, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Calling Farah a "liberal" is a problem. RaoulDuke 03:19, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
I have no idea what kind of ruse you're running, 18, but any kid at MIT could do what you're doing and it's unacceptable. I find it very telling that you don't even have a static IP address, as any faculty member would, or let alone a student sitting at the same terminal. Get your story straight, sir. I've been editing Conservapedia since June and I certainly don't need any trouble. It's hard enough as it is. MarkGall 03:23, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
We are now testing too many variables to ascertain a result. Both are now present, it will be impossible to tell which did the deed. Short of MarkGall actually posting on CP that he is the IP or he is the registered account, which he won't do if he has more than five active brain cells, we can't tell. --The Emperor Kneel before Zod! 03:24, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Damn, too late. Ah well. --The Emperor Kneel before Zod!

Farah's taken care of. I'll leave the other one to you, Mark. -- Mark II
Satisfied? And by the way this has become nothing but a race. Edit conflicting me proves nothing. Your dissembling will be outed. MarkGall 03:27, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
How do we know you are not just logging in and out? What kind of sick game are you up to? - π 03:28, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
OK, throw out another parody article and I'll deal with it. Registered Mark: no matter what you do, don't fix this one! You can do it tomorrow. As for proving we're distinct, I can't really think of a good way to do that without checking his IP. -- Mark
I once added wp:Alexander Downer to the cp:Professor Values article, even though he is a prominent conservative politician turned token university professor, hoping no one would notice the fact the Liberal Party of Australia is actually right-wing. - π 03:41, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
But he's still a prominent politician appointed to a professorship, even if he's conservative. Is there anything actually false about that entry? I won't remove content on ideological grounds. -- Mark
I was just trying to get you to do something Andy threatened to block people for, just so I could have a good laugh. - π 03:48, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
(EC) If (Not)MarkGall were to enable e-mail, one of us could e-mail him another article to edit. Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 03:47, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Good idea, listener. --The Emperor Kneel before Zod! 04:08, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

The challenge[edit]

I have sent our user MarkGall an e-mail with a specific instruction on something I would like done there. I think what I asked them to do is specific enough that I will know whether or not it is done. The Goonie 1 What's this button do? Uh oh.... 04:46, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Isn't it obvious that both of them are both of them? ħumanUser talk:Human 05:28, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Interesting that you think you sent me an email when I don't have email enabled. What's with you people. MarkGall 05:30, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Enable it, then. Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 05:32, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

I think I have worked out what is going on here[edit]

Wasn't someone giving away an account with user rights the other day? Maybe the two MarkGall's are fighting over their account? - π 10:57, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure I actually want to know what's going on. I just think the above exchanges were hilarious. Scarlet A.pngpostate 11:02, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
This is class, it's like one of your mates having an evil twin and trying to work out who is who, like this scene from Red Dwarf. CrundyTalk nerdy to me 11:22, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Are you basically saying that we need to wait to see which one would say "it's no use, you'll have to kill us both, that's the only way to be sure"? Scarlet A.pngpostate 11:40, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Clearly the only thing to do is to cut the baby in half. Me!Sheesh!Mine! 14:05, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
