What have you done?[edit]
I tried to add a question with your new voting system to the main page. It showed up fine on the template page, but not on the main page, it said there was an error of some sort. Obviously, this is your fault, and it speaks volumes about your lack of skills. Can you fix this, or is it beyond your simple level? Thanks in advance, Bohdan 22:05, 13 November 2007 (EST)
- The voting system is essentially a hack designed for a specific purpose, both the extension and the templates I am using are not really extendable beyond WIGO. If for some reason we see a future use for the system beyond WIGO I can think about creating a more general purpose system. In the mean time you could create one and I will install it. 130.113.218.226 22:49, 13 November 2007 (EST)

Did you ever implement that "new user slowdown" feature? Wuz they even "new"? human 16:20, 21 November 2007 (EST)

- Anything is possible it just a matter of coding it and how well I can code. I am learning PHP by essentially trial and error and back tracking through wiki code to a pain in the ass. I will mull over the idea. tmtoulouse beset 13:15, 23 November 2007 (EST)

Saving pages?[edit]
Since Conservapedia tends to erase, not just pages, but the history of pages containing anything embarrassing, why don't we make an effort to save pages that are likely to suffer such a fate. By "save" I mean right clicking and going to "Save Page As...". (Assuming you're a Windows user. I don't know about Macs or Linux.) Later we can upload them (assuming it's possible to upload an entire page) onto RationalWiki under the Conservapedia namespace. Or perhaps under a new namespace; "Evidence", or some such name. Thoughts? -- Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 16:40, 27 December 2007 (EST)

new bot for you to build, run, and then heartlessly destroy[edit]
Can you make a bot that finds all iterations of {{welcome}} that use two arguments, and in each case delete the first one and its pipe symbol? Because if you can, we can simplify the welcome template. If possible you might want to restrict the bot to "user talk" space for safety.
Oh, and can you also make a bot called "Bender"? It might come in handy from time to time. human 17:31, 30 December 2007 (EST)

Did dPl Leave?[edit]

- It's still here and active (easy to verify - those green talk page archive link boxes *points up* rely on it). Dunno if we have Special pages about it here, but I always just used the manual for reference. --Sid 16:59, 4 January 2008 (EST)

I'm working with Linus (OK, he's really doing everything) to make the rationalblogs more useful and to hopefully go live with more of it. There's no traffic probs if I migrate over? Also, if it lets me incorporate AdSense or something like that, it might help pay---i'm up to about 600 visits a day average (unique visitors less).
