This category is used only for typical 'European-style center-left social democrats' and 'very very moderate socialists'. (Social democrat is generally considered a form of modern socialist.)[1] Elizabeth Warren are classified as 'liberals' in the US political context, but they can also be classified as 'social democrats' either externally or in the US.[2]
- Social liberals who appear to be center-left tendencies but not social democrats should use this category and use the Liberals category.
- For people with strong democratic socialist personalities such as Olof Palme, Jeremy Corbyn, Ilhan Omar, AOC and Bernie Sanders, we recommend using the Socialists category.
