Atheophobia[edit]

If you're wondering why he's in the "Atheophobia" category, this is why.

Probably add to the article later TheEOE (talk) 07:23, 12 August 2018 (UTC)

If you watch a couple of his clips, you very quickly realize that half of the time he is just talking shit. He used to be an atheist himself. --84.177.92.16 (talk) 18:52, 12 December 2018 (UTC)

Possible addition to the Violence section?[edit]

Earlier this year, McInnis had sent a Proud Boy to the home of Super Deluxe video editor Vic Berger where they threatened him and his family. Twitter thread of Vic himself documenting this.

Given that McInnes is a pathetic sack of shit, we shouldn't be surprised. Tomas Vilanch (talk) 22:17, 22 September 2018 (UTC)

Cult leaders[edit]

If you want to know why I categorised McInnes as a cult leader, watch this video of a discussion between Tiffany, Felicia and X from the Utah Outcasts and it will all make sense. How anyone could consider the Proud Boys as anything other than a cult is beyond me.

Suggest spinning off the "Proud Boys" content into its own article[edit]

Given the *massive* increase in public interest in the Proud Boys, I'd argue they are far more known that McInnes himself, and that we should spin off explicitly Proud Boys content and leave this article to focus more on McInnes as an individual. Do you have material that you plan to use for expansion? Bongolian (talk) 23:27, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
As a complete outsider that didn't edit this article at all, I agree. ElectrosPardon? 23:30, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
I'm not opposed to the idea in theory.Spud (talk) 00:11, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
Right now the gay community is successfully hijacking the #proudboys hashtag on Twitter, and it's wonderful: https://twitter.com/hashtag/ProudBoys --Butter Melon Cauliflower (talk) 03:04, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for the tip! Bongolian (talk) 03:34, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

I definitely think that, especially after the recent debate, they ought to have their own article.

I'm not opposed to it, I just like to see content that can be differentiated to make it its own article. --It's-a me, Lgm sigpic.png ๐ŸŽ„LeftyGreenMario!๐ŸŽ„ 18:52, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
Based on the overall trend here, I've spun off Proud Boys. TapTheForwardAssist (talk) 04:50, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
