Outsourcing[edit]

I feel like the whole phenomenon of outsourcing IT and tech support work to India should be covered here, including the factors that contributed to it. I don't know where to start researching though. Any pointers?

Quote[edit]

@Spud was there a specific reason for removing the quote? Was the sourcing incorrect? Was the quote taken out of context? ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 03:34, 3 July 2020 (UTC)

Nah just India bad, classic western mentality User:Raghavway/sig 3 July 2020 (UTC)
I'll get to you in a bit, I want an answer from Spud first though. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 03:39, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
That was a mistake. I assumed that Raghavway had restored his previous edit that had just been undone. I would have undone my mistake. But then more of the same whitewashing started to happen again. And I will not have some stupid kid accuse me of being racist. Spud (talk) 11:41, 3 July 2020 (UTC)

Women Rights[edit]

Holy shit showing prejudice in wiki pages is not nice, remove the prejudices it is not that worse that is mentioned in the page situation is better than most western countries, just because a large population there is just a lot of news, also mention women prime minister, president, vice-president User:Raghavway/sig 3 July 2020 (UTC)

Try being civil before coming in here and vomiting on peoples' talk pages. —cosmikdebris talk stalk 03:46, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
So, you do know that having female politicians doesn't mean your country can't have problems with bigotry right? I mean, I live in the US, and our little imperialist asses had a black president and the country still has problems with systemic racism. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 03:48, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
I do not care about your country, the article India just sounds like "India what a shitty place" and then at end the "Good News" that yay population growth is declining, really prejudiced leave that articles to Indians, Do the "neeedfull" sire User:Raghavway/sig 09:38, 3 July 2020 (IST)
Women's rights in India are actually really bad according pretty much every relevant group and metric. Keep your nationalist agenda away pls. — Z 03:57, 5 July 2020 (UTC)
Women rights are there, and it is very strict, but they are very clumsily imposed, but when they are not, you can get a life sentence for the smallest of offences. Anything can count as defamation, and that is a really huge problem in IndiaSqrt-1 (talk)
i have to say the section 'Crimes against Women' is wank though. it does a piss poor job of explaining the nature and causes of said crimes, nothing of the extent of these problems, and little to nothing on any action or movements to address any these problems, or what challenges there are in doing so. and how its written is just really really bad, really crass.
the whole article is an unfocused mess. i'm inclined to agree with Raghavway. you dont need a nationalist agenda to see that a country with all the complexities of india is reduced here to essentially a land of savages. AMassiveGay (talk) 09:43, 16 July 2020 (UTC)

New edits[edit]

User:Christopher and User:GrammarCommie. Why my edits were reverted?

Here I fixed the unsourced misinformation which falsely claimed that India is taking away citizenship of Muslims away and also added a reliable source.

Same as above. "250 million" people protesting is just a hoax. Why we are promoting it?

Same as above. The source only talks about what happened during partition of India in 1947 (74 years ago!) than any prevailing "culture".

I don't think there is anything else to explain. Can you restore my version? 223.226.214.50 (talk) 23:32, 5 June 2021 (UTC)

The edit is possibly wrong, I'm checking the relevant documents. I also remember there being claims that India was straight up deporting Muslims on dubious charges, something similar to ICE's behavior here in the US under Trump, so I'll check for that as well. The protest figures are in the process of being checked and corrected. I'm unsure of the third edit and will look into it further. ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 23:38, 5 June 2021 (UTC)
This edit of yours is wrong. The document only says that the minority groups involving "Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi or Christian community from Afghanistan, Bangladesh or Pakistan" are eligible for fast-track citizenship. It does not say that the bill is supposed to take away the citizenship from Muslims. See Business Standard. 223.226.214.50 (talk) 00:12, 6 June 2021 (UTC)
