Talk:Muhammad Amin al-Husseini
Make sure you source the claims, especially the connections to Hitler and the final solution (here and on the Göring page). Thanks. Reverend Black Percy (talk) 14:05, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
- I'm having a look online. I've read all of this before from various sources. Oh by the way, the Yes that was his actual name quip is a reference to his unbelievably terrifying name: "Amin" - Idi Amin, "al-Husseyni" - Saddam Hussein, "Muhammad" - what more needs to be said? Do you think somewhere in the UK there's an Imam called Adolf Mugabe al-Fritzl? --Let Them Eat Cake (talk) 14:47, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

- Sorry, not terrifying. A huge percentage of Muslim men have some variant of Mohammed as their name. Amin is a not-uncommon surname.[1]. Hussein and its variants is a very common surname (that is probably why they called him Saddam not Hussein). Really, the links either show ignorance or are an ad hominem attack. Please remove them. Bongolian (talk) 22:27, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
- But Bongolian, duuh — of course it's not "terrifying" (lmfao)! Don't you realise that we're making fun of the people who hype that Obama's middle name is HUSSEIN? Like that means he's bad or something? The whole joke is at the expense of the islamophobes! Reverend Black Percy (talk) 22:38, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

Actually, yes I meant it as an ad hominem, because while those names might be common, it's quite ironic to find all of them together in the same name, particularly belonging to a Nazi, sort of like having a KKK member called Ted-Charles Bundy-Manson. --Let Them Eat Cake (talk) 13:31, 23 August 2016 (UTC)
Please please please[edit]
Do not leave this page with 0 sources. It makes claims on everything from Adolf Hitler and the final solution to jihadist terrorism and the assassination of kings. Plz you guys. Reverend Black Percy (talk) 11:26, 23 August 2016 (UTC)
- See the Wikipedia article on Amin al-Husseini. It has an extensive list of references from scholarly journals and reputable periodicals that are available online. (You're also not allowed to edit that article until you've been on Wikipedia for 30 days and made 500 edits). Spud (talk) 15:53, 23 August 2016 (UTC)
- Most people agree that he was horrible. What people cannot agree on is how important he is/was. For example the claim he was Yassir Arafat's mentor is not well liked by some Arafat fangirls and fanboys in the West. another Jewish conspiracy by (((Laurogeita Hamabost))) (talk) 17:39, 23 August 2016 (UTC)
I feel an AfD coming on[edit]
absolutely zero sources and zero context to support the rumour and flat out bullshit claims presented as fact. 100% dogshit.
this guy is a controversial figure and no doubt warrants an rw article, however nothing contained within its current state should feature in such an article.
honestly, look at the state of it - 100% dogshit. AMassiveGay (talk) 02:32, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
- Unless extreme, you can't just nominate someone's article for deletion because it's bad - improve over delete, and that's not how a wiki works. You have to find a way he isn't missional. I wouldn't vote to keep it at an AFD, but also not to delete. --Andrew5 (talk) 03:05, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
- Honestly, I agree with AMG here. This is not only a low quality article, it basically asserts dubious incidents as What Really Happened without any authority...you know, the exact opposite of what we do. It is not so much a bad article as it is an, if you will, "anti-article." It's batter to burn this down knowing we can start another draft later.-Flandres (talk) 03:11, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
- It applies the label of terrorist extremely retroactively, and it repeats Netanyahu's (falsified) claim that al-Husseini told Hitler to do the Holocaust.... What the actual fuck is this garbage? ☭Comrade GC☭Ministry of Praise 03:19, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
- EC 'Unless extreme, you can't just nominate someone's article for deletion because it's bad' yeh, yeh you can because its extremely bad. @andrew5 did you look at the article? can you point to anything of worth? anything we might keep? i could list every fault but literally every line is an egregious fault. some of the claims made are tantamount to holocaust denial (the mufti proposing the final solution to hitler is mentioned in our own page on the subject). there are no sources for any of it, and its not all hearsay and rumour but flat out bullshit liberally sprinkled within the rumours. you need some kernal of truth, some grain of substance at it core to talk about improving. there is none. its self evidently dogshit. you dispose of dogshit. thats how a wiki works AMassiveGay (talk) 03:49, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
- oh and instead of sources with have 'notes' and they are, well, they are just dogshit. AMassiveGay (talk) 03:58, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
