I see 1 in 35 hits that was a false positive. I also unfortunately can't tweak the filter without breaking it. 04:10, 17 December 2013 (UTC)

I believe we are all thinking of the same false positive hit. Can't find any clue why that editor tripped the filter, not with the info available at this comfy armchair. I've been editing from my phone or I would have taken care of adding the edit back in and unlocking the address. I'll do that tonight. Maybe we're not thinking of the same one after all. I saw an IP trip the filter, not a named account. The consistent formatting of "my hobby is linking to search results for learning Xhosa" type posts needs no mention. I'll say no more, but thanks! Infinite blocks for IPs are probably bad

The edit filter bot's blocking IPs indefinitely. This is probably a bad idea. (It's hitting Tor exit nodes today, from our latest serial filter-triggerer.) - David Gerard (talk) 13:58, 3 August 2014 (UTC)

"Nazi scumbag" filter

I tried to reply to a nazi BoN on the talkpage of Race, and (I assume) it thought I was posting their post, and it blocked me. Seems like something that should be fixed, if possible. Frederick^♠♣♥♦ 04:23, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

I'll take a look at it. I was hoping somebody would trigger it sooner or later so I could find out what it would do (since I programmed it, the person it was meant to stop hasn't been back).
