...And thanks for posting about Al Gore's Nobel Prize for raising awareness of climate change! W00t.-αmεσ (decider) 08:08, 12 October 2007 (EDT)
- Hi Jimaginator, just a tip: if you copy/paste from another wiki you'll preserve the formatting if you copy from "Edit" or "View source" - the line spacing can get boggly if you don't. (It has the downside of copying the links as links, which might not be what you intend - it's swings & roundabouts really) ContribsTalk 13:08, 25 August 2008 (EDT)

Haven't seen you around before—greetings, Jimaginator, and welcome to the brisket! Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 12:57, 4 September 2008 (EDT)
- Thanks. I am more WP than RW, but CP must be neutralized! Jimaginator 11:31, 5 September 2008 (EDT)
- "Neutralized"—I like that : ) It makes you sound like a member of the CIA! Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 22:40, 5 September 2008 (EDT)
- I was thinking neutralized more like pouring a base on an acid spill to counteract it, but CIA is much cooler! Now I can do whatever I want! Jimaginator 10:09, 9 September 2008 (EDT)

Bullfight picture[edit]
Your bullfight screenshot is getting criticised, and might get deleted. You'd better go to its talk page if you want it saved. Totnesmartin 18:48, 8 September 2008 (EDT)

- Honestly, sometimes I don't understand RW anymore than I do CP! I think RW must make up it's mind what it wants to be, serious refutations of RW et al, or jokes. Oh well, I thought it was interesting, but I still don't understand the etiquette of this stuff. Jimaginator 10:06, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
- I think it was just that a picture of an animal being killed purely for entertainment was a bit much for some. There many many official policies here, which as you say sometimes makes it hard to see what the site's about - it's bistable between serious attempts at refutation and having a laugh. Please don't be put off editing here just because you crossed an invisible line. We've all done that. Totnesmartin 10:38, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
- Thanks for the insight; I really hadn't thought of the animal cruelty angle being upsetting visually (I should have I suppose), more just a stupid attempt to show bloodshed associated with them mean ol' atheists. What struck me was the absurdity of the Communism/Atheism/Bullfighting connection, AND the fact that Cuba isn't know for bullfighting (assuming they have it at all), and the fact that the picture itself looks like it comes from Mexico or Spain, not Cuba. The comment by Kels about "this crap" makes sense in light of the cruelty angle. It seems more like a knee jerk reaction. As far as being put off, I won't be; afterall, CP has told me many times how "clueless" I am, this ain't nothin'! Thanks. Jimaginator 16:23, 9 September 2008 (EDT)

Welcome Back[edit]
Have a demotion to celebrate your return. There is a help file somewhere, I sure you can find it. Mowse 19:40, 15 September 2008 (EDT)

- Yes, I see the buttons, but still don't get it. I must be a godless evolutionist or somethin'. The buttons are funny, but other than that...Jimaginator 09:27, 17 September 2008 (EDT)

Atheism & morality[edit]
I posted an answer to your question. It's my own views on it (but I think they're pretty common to most atheists) & I'm not sure how well I've explained it, but I hope it helps address this issue for you. Let me know what you think. weaseLOId~ 16:55, 10 November 2008 (EST)
