Welcome[edit]
Thanks for translating that article into Farsi! If you plan to add more later, it might be best to work on it in a subpage of your user page (maybe User:Rationalsepi/سفسطهی حد وسط). And move it back to سفسطهی حد وسط when it’s longer. Christopher (talk) 16:21, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
- I cannot verify the quality of the translations, but adding translations to the wiki is something we need more of. So thank you for the additions.—CheeseburgerPlate (talk • stalk) 19:04, 21 January 2018 (UTC)
Thank you hope it is useful. @CheeseburgerFace Rationalsepi (talk) 14:58, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
Google translate[edit]
I don't know any Farsi, so to check on your new pages, I tried using Google Translate (https://translate.google.com/) to translate them into English. The Google translations are really bad! Do you know if this is true generally? Are you writing in a dialect of Farsi that Google is not good at? Bongolian (talk) 19:51, 21 January 2018 (UTC)
- Google is bad generally for any language not similar to English and hopeless if you’re translating between two non English languages. Christopher (talk) 20:42, 21 January 2018 (UTC)
Google translate is really bad for translating Farsi specially if someone tries to translate sentences. The main problem is that Farsi is a RTL language and I couldn't find a way to change the LTR default of Rationalwiki. By the way i don't know whether I'm using talk section right or not :)) @Bongolian @Christopher Rationalsepi (talk) 14:58, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
How to reply and sign[edit]
If replying to another user, rather than doing this, add {{ping|USERNAME}}
to inform them of your response.
On talk pages, please sign your comments using four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the sign button: on the toolbar above the edit panel. You can also indent successive talk page comments using one more colon (:) for each line. Thank you. CowHouse (talk) 13:37, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
