User talk:Rimuru Tempest/Archive1
Well, I give you a hearty hug for a welcome![edit]
Hey WhoKnows, don't let any-a-dem get you down. Don't worry; there are a handful of folk who may mimic conservapedia by reverting anything that they disagree with or that they don't grasp (:-P~ and ;-) to any-a-dem reading this) but, unlike conservapedia, they won't ban you just because they don't comprehend it. Remember (unlike Wikipedia this time) rationalwiki doesn't strive to be hassle free; enjoy rockin' the boat and don't take things too seriously. Remember to have fun. --Bertrc (talk) 01:54, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
- thank you my friend--Rimuru Tempest (talk) 00:18, 11 June 2017 (UTC)

?[edit]
Why'd you create an article that was just the entire content of this? Christopher (talk) 16:55, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
- I made a mistake but I don't know why it came out like that, I was going to send a request for it to be deleted--Rimuru Tempest (talk) 16:58, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
First Welcome[edit]
If new accounts make edits that completely change the tone of an article and don't provide sources, they're likely to get reverted. Take it to the talkpage. Christopher (talk) 17:30, 3 June 2017 (UTC)

Sysop[edit]
Because of your edits to and time on the wiki, wizard Sysop has been added to your user rights. Feel free to let your newfound POWER course through your veins. Once the high wears off, see RationalWiki:Sysop guide for more information. If you have questions, bleat ask away. Christopher (talk) 15:25, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Christopher Speaking of which I've been wondering, is this Sysop position really a power, or is it just glorified slavery?Rimuru Da Ninja 18:43, 31 March 2018 (UTC)
Deleting pages[edit]
To delete a page you click the little arrow next to the star at the top (near "fossil record"). 3 options should come up, vaporize relocate and protect, click vaporize and delete the page. Christopher (talk) 14:45, 14 June 2017 (UTC)

Binning BoNs[edit]
We never vandal bin BoNs because it's permanent, block them for an hour or something. Christopher (talk) 10:57, 25 June 2017 (UTC)
- sorry about that--King Tempest 18:40, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
Sysop pledge[edit]
Is there anyway to tweak the wording on my pledge?--King Rimuru 19:00, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- Add subst: before the template (like this :{{subst:Sysop pledge}}), click save and press "edit" again. It should be obvious from there. Christopher (talk) 19:05, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- thanks--Ultimate Slime 19:05, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
Creationism[edit]
Apparently you're a YEC, what are your thoughts on this page? Christopher (talk) 18:54, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
- The days are not actual 24 hours but evening and morning. In the Bible it states evening and morning which is why even jews say the sabbath starts on Friday sunset. So I would change a little there. But aside from that I'm OK with it. I don't wish to change the way one thinks of it unless they choose to and that's why I don't mess with making it sound different. I'll just place facts and not my opinion.--Rimuru Tempest 19:53, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
- But as for the page you shared I'll read it as I normally read what is sent to me. --Rimuru Da Ninja 20:02, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
- Quick thing to point out. You can't state about the starlight being a evidence against the young creation of the earth, the bible never stated we were the first one created. It only states, in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. It did not state he did it on our first day (as we clasify as God making light which is the glow you can see on a clear night) but that it was created. You can create something but have it on hold. So you can say I'm a young earth believer in some way but not a young universe believer.--Řïmũŗû Ţèmpéŝţ 20:12, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
- Hebrews 11:3(KJV) Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Keep in mind the word "worlds". The Bible does not state we were the first made but only the first to fall from grace.--Řïmũŗû Ţèmpéŝţ 20:17, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
- Also, we do not know how long Adam and Eve would have been around before the fall. The Bible does not state how long they were alive as there life on the earth was calculated once they fell, and if the trees were planted by God before he even created man and he had them bare fruits would they not have to be older (talking about the dead trees)? Temperature isnt as big of a factor as daylight, like with an artic rabbit. You need to take into factor the growing condition the plants are in as well. Tree rings being numerous is possible, but keep in mind also that there have been problems with counting tree rings, false rings can form and have happened quite often if there is drought.--リムルテンペスト 20:32, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
- Do you accept the scientific age for the universe (you seemed to imply so with the "stars kept on hold comment)? How old roughly do you think the world is? Christopher (talk) 21:09, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
- well I wouldn't see the universe being that old as impossible but when it comes to the earth then I differ--Řïmũŗû Ţèmpéŝţ 21:11, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
- I couldn't put a rough estimate on how old the earth really is, like I said when we think of the first day we think of when God said' "let there be light" but the fact that the earth was without form and void shows it was there beforehand.--Ultimate Slime 21:15, 5 August 2017 (UTC)

Lomax[edit]
@Christopher How long has this guy been at it? Since when i first joined i never saw this person, is this relatively new? リムルテンペスト 19:16, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
- Abd has been doing it for a few months now, he creates hundreds of accounts and uses proxies, he then claims he has been 'impersonated' by Rationalwiki users, a clever tactic he uses to spread misinformation. His first target was a user called ODS, then he targeted me, then Bongolian, now he targets Readymade, David Gerard and Christopher. When you mention this guys name he feeds off the attention and you offer him a new place to spam. He will not doubt bother you now and probably spam this talk-page and write hundreds of words about it on his blog. He gives up for a while when pages are locked but turns up in a new place every week. He once boasted he has 20,000 proxy IPS. So he won't be giving up on this. If he shows up here, revert his comments and block him. Regards. Debunking spiritualism (talk) 20:10, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
- Like he did a while ago, well there are many people who just want to feed off attention, I guess this is one of those times.Rimuru Tempest 20:37, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
Fun Page[edit]

Vandalism Galore[edit]
Recently I have noticed a huge spike in vandalism and trolling all across many internet sites. Rimuru Tempest 02:12, 22 March 2018 (UTC)
Lomax Harassment[edit]
Seems Lomax was hurt by some comment on his site, I don't know what it's about but I'm not dipping my hands in this nonsense. You cant just go around and accuse people at a whim, there are more people on RationalWiki than he thinks.Rimuru Tempest 02:00, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
Blocking[edit]
Someone clearly ignorant of how wikis work deleting loads of stuff from a page ≠ vandalism. Plus a one off vandal isn’t worthy of a block anyway. Christopher (talk) 16:21, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
- He did it two times, i reverted it the first time but he repeated to do it again.Rimuru Tempest 16:25, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
