There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff – we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.
If everyone who saw this today donated $5, we would meet our goal for 2019.

Paris Lees is a British journalist and kicks considerable arse as a campaigner for transgender rights. She is a preeminent figure in the push for better media representation and treatment of trans people. Her eloquence and tireless activism is especially well-known in the blogosphere and she is active on YouTube.
Recently, however, her work with UK media monitoring group Trans Media Watch and META Magazine has elevated her to something of an authoritative status on trans issues, especially the controversial topic of transgender youth. She has blogged for the BBC and appeared as a guest on the BBC Breakfast programme during its 2012 coverage of the James family media clusterfuck.
