Delete[edit]

  1. I don't think this page is very missional. It basically boils down to criticizing people who would normally be considered moderates because they don't support certain social justice topics. The page also seems to be unable to decide if it should criticize the term or endorse it as a legit term. I think the talkpage has a lot of good arguments against this page.Owlman (talk) (mail) 04:03, 24 April 2016 (UTC) 04:03, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
  2. yeah, bin this, it had its chance not to suck - David Gerard (talk) 19:33, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
  3. Delete, people are making fun of us because of this. Pizzameister (talk) 22:18, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
People make fun of our articles all the time it's just this seems like a parody.--Owlman (talk) (mail) 22:27, 24 April 2016 (UTC) 22:27, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
  4. Kill it, this is a rather dumb term of abuse.--Kugelschreiber (talk) (mail) (block) 21:04, 14 May 2016 (UTC) 21:04, 14 May 2016 (UTC)

Keep[edit]

  1. But keep it as a criticism of the term. Fuzzy "Cat" Potato, Jr. (talk/stalk) 20:27, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
Idk if there is much material you can get from this term besides criticizing it as an overly divisive term.--Owlman (talk) (mail) 20:38, 24 April 2016 (UTC) 20:38, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
  2. "Criticizing it as a divisive term" was pretty much the thesis of my most preferred vision, which also show various you-know-whos making hilarious prats of themselves (and an example of where the stereotype comes from), and being oddly obsessed with Seth McFarlane. This version at least tries to be missional, showing an oddly totalitarian mindset that makes no sense if you're trying to achieve social change in the real world. - Smerdis of Tlön, LOAD "*", 8, 1. 04:29, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
What's totalitarian about it? Withoutaname (talk) 20:27, 19 May 2016 (UTC)
The idea that you have to agree with every item on the agenda to count as an ally. - Smerdis of Tlön, LOAD "*", 8, 1. 21:20, 19 May 2016 (UTC)
totalitarian /tōˌtaləˈterēən/ adjective 1. of or relating to a system of government that is centralized and dictatorial and requires complete subservience to the state.
You might get criticized as being a very ineffective ally, but this hardly involves government interference or complete subservience. So I'll repeat, what's totalitarian about it? Withoutaname (talk) 00:21, 24 May 2016 (UTC)
  3. Preferably towards the earlier version listed below. ℕoir LeSable (talk) 17:16, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
  4. If we can have "regressive left" then we can have this one too. Typhoon (talk) 09:06, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
  5. Brogressivism plays an importan role in identity politics and the push for greater equality.Tuxer (talk) 22:04, 16 May 2016 (UTC)

Goat[edit]

  • Earlier versions of the page, which attempted to analyze how this silly word was being used, should also be considered. The current text is utterly unlike those versions. - Smerdis of Tlön, LOAD "*", 8, 1. 20:24, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
Yeah several other users and I tried to argue that there was a good way to use for this term, but it ended up being a parody of the original version.--Owlman (talk) (mail) 20:40, 24 April 2016 (UTC) 20:40, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
  • So there are three Keep voters who would prefer to revert the article back to its original version. Assuming all of the delete voters would support this would that mean this case is closed?--Owlman (talk) (mail) 18:59, 19 May 2016 (UTC) 18:59, 19 May 2016 (UTC)
    I suppose that would work.--JorisEnter (talk) 19:10, 19 May 2016 (UTC)
