OpenSTV ballot readers[edit]
With the LANCBing of Ze, I am alone in the role of ballot reader for RationalWiki elections. I would like it if someone could step up to be a backup ballot reader, in case I get run over by a bus before the election closes. The software we use is really easy to set up and use, but it does require a technical background, or at least someone who's comfortable with the command line. I have the RationalWiki election setup on my Mac; the OpenSTV reader is a Python app. I haven't set this up on my Windoze machines but assume it would work fine on that platform too.
If anyone out there who's not an active candidate for the 2020 Mod elections would like to be a backup ballot reader, I'd be happy to assist them and welcome their support for the wiki. —cosmikdebris talk stalk 02:07, 7 November 2020 (UTC)

- I'll do it. Nutty Roux (talk) 11:54, 23 November 2021 (UTC)
- Wait. Why are you asking for multiple people to do the same thing? Nutty Roux (talk) 12:45, 23 November 2021 (UTC)
- This is on a comment from last year... I covered for the previous board election, but I obviously can't do that for this one. Also I'll notify David to start the election... -- Techpriest (talk) 13:01, 23 November 2021 (UTC)
