Please note:[edit]

The last thing anyone wants for a user to return to do is participate in drama. Coops are pure drama and zero good editing. ikanreed You probably didn't deserve that 15:21, 29 September 2016 (UTC)

Never mind blanking out half the coop in doing so. I hope the kindest explanation avaliable is sufficient as to why that genius move even took place. Reverend Black Percy (talk) 15:31, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
I don't know what any of the above even means. After being asked to return and edit, I went to the coop and saw all the reasons I won't be doing that. And said so. But I didn't blank anything out, and have no idea what Rev is on about. Yet more indication of why I'm very happy to be done trying to do anything constructive here.
This truly is a ship of fools who are utterly blind to the ethos and actions that will always preclude sensible and smart people from hanging around. Just in the 6-8 months I was here I saw a stampede of good people out of the place. Y'all are reaping what you sow. Bye.---Mona- (talk) 15:14, 21 January 2017 (UTC)
I beg to differ, there are still many, many great, smart, kind and funny editors on this wiki.--WMS (talk) 15:23, 21 January 2017 (UTC)
There may still be, but I personally witnessed an exodus of many more. And that was in less than a year here. I go on at some length as to the reason for this in my user page. One after another left in disgust, some who had participated for years. ---Mona- (talk) 16:21, 21 January 2017 (UTC)

Well, is it not the futile Imperial Inquisition?[edit]

You and the inquisition have tried but failed to put out the flames of conflict. Your attempts at purging heresy from this wiki has failed, woman. Khorne shall prevail, the Israel-Arab Conflict shall spill blood for eternity to fill the stomach of the Blood God. He cares not from whence the blood flows, only that it flows (though we prefer strong soldiers first and non-combatants last, but since the conflict has gone on for years, our rage cares not for the casualties though Netanyahu is still a coward for sorcery). Give in to Chaos, for we shall be supreme. Maim!Kill!Burn! 03:48, 29 December 2016 (UTC)

Holy hell[edit]

You're back at long last. Welcome back, Mona, it's been a while. Dr. Ox quack specialist 04:18, 17 May 2019 (UTC)

Just playing tonite. Is that sysop who always gets his way because of some outside relationship still in power? If so, I'm not sticking around. Too stressful. I don't think I'm even still a sysop but don't recall how to even know.---Mona- (talk) 04:27, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
Adding: I can't find that thing on the menu where you can see who has edited what? Maybe another senior moment?---Mona- (talk) 04:30, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
Mona, you've got "sysoprevoke" status. This means that you can't become sysop again without the assent of a moderator. I'm not sure which sysop you're referring to above. I vaguely remember the Israel-Palestine chicken coopery that you were involved in. I have no objection to your editing here; you haven't been permabanned, after all. Your Targeted Individuals page was good by the way. Bongolian (talk) 04:45, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
Yes. That's right. That Typhoon person was constantly doing that thing to my account where you can't edit. I de-sysoped her when she wouldn't stop takng my posting away and asked a mod to tell her to stop. Some mod -- I think it was a Dave? -- said that was really bad of me. Something like that, it's hard ot remember. Is whatever that was still a big deal? Aren't most folks sysops? And where is that thing that shows you all edits?---Mona- (talk) 04:59, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
Yes, most of us are sysops here. You can find you edit history on the top row where it says, "Contributions". I can't remember Dave (unless you mean David Gerard) or Typhoon. The latter hasn't edited much since 2016. Bongolian (talk) 05:04, 17 May 2019 (UTC) Typhoon is also sysoprevoked. Bongolian (talk) 05:05, 17 May 2019 (UTC
That's it. David Gerard really dislikes me and as I recall is the major power here? If I want to see all the edits -- you have to be a sysop to do that, right -- he can and will block me and all other mods pretty much follow his lead, is that not the general lay of the land? Or is that David person gone?---Mona- (talk) 05:16, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
Dave Gerard barely does anything involving mod work anymore, he's content to sit back in the shadows and watch from afar. He's also not a mod, quite a lot has changed since you were first here. Dr. Ox quack specialist 05:18, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
Thanks Oxyeana. Retirement is hitting me hard and I'd maybe do some adding to articles here, but I recall tracking edits is how I work. If some mod will make it so I can do that again I have lots of additional reading to contribute to edits. But if not, not.---Mona- (talk) 05:22, 17 May 2019 (UTC)

Are you talking about recent changes? You don't have to be a mod to see that. You don't even have to have a user account to see that. Assuming you're viewing this wiki in Vector, and not in some other weird skin of your choosing, you'll find the link in the left side bar under the logo and the link to the main page. Now you behave yourself. There's more than enough drama on this wiki already! Spud (talk) 05:34, 17 May 2019 (UTC)

LOL. As I recall, this site hardly needs moi to generate drama. But, yeah, Recent Changes must be what I mean, but if you aren't sysop you can't talk to others there, isn't that how it works? I've left for 3 years -- even tho I have lots of material to add -- out of frustration with not being able to participate in what I guess was Recent Changes.---Mona- (talk) 05:39, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
No, not being sysop just means you aren't allowed to block people, lock/redirect/delete pages, and a few other things. Editing/communicating doesn't need a mop. RoninMacbeth (talk) 05:44, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
BLOCK. That's what that Typhoon kept doing to my account, for hours. Oh well, trying to make her stop it got me in trouble. I'd swear it meant I couldn't see Recent Changes any more. That's how I recall it [shrug]---Mona- (talk) 05:50, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
Just read through my talk page from a few years ago. This visit was a mistake. This site is too stressful. Bye everyone.---Mona- (talk) 05:53, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
Are you sure? Avenger and Arisboch have been gone for years. If you want to stay, please do. RoninMacbeth (talk) 05:54, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
There are a handful of concern trolls, but other than that we're pretty much all friendly with each other now as far as I can tell. Pizza SLICE.gifDuceMoosoliniYour friendly RW dictator moderator 07:02, 17 May 2019 (UTC)

Wizard[edit]

You have sysop again. Dr. Ox quack specialist 06:05, 17 May 2019 (UTC)

This is a bad idea. Mona was a a source of enormous drama and was sysoprevoked for good cause. She is back to sysoprevoked and can still edit here if she chooses. Bongolian (talk) 07:08, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
@Oxyaena Also, this may seem like a self-serving power-grab, but I think techs should generally leave the sysoprevoke button alone and let the mods use it. Pizza SLICE.gifDuceMoosoliniYour friendly RW dictator moderator 07:13, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
I disagree, no one batted an eye when I sysoprevoked Smith after all. Dr. Ox quack specialist 07:16, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
Fair point on that one. Pizza SLICE.gifDuceMoosoliniYour friendly RW dictator moderator 07:37, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
@Oxyaena, you can accept that tacit approval of your keeping pestiferous behavior of others to a minimum. However, the description of Sysoprevoke states (RationalWiki:User rights#Sysoprevoke):
Sysoprevoke is a user "right" which can only be added or removed by mods. It prevents a user from using any of the tools of sysop, even if they are marked as being a sysop in user rights. In other words, it prevents anyone apart from a mod from re-sysopping someone.
A moderator sysoprevoked Mona, so it should therefore be the case that only a moderator should be able to give her back sysop status back again, preferably after a period of good behavior. Bongolian (talk) 07:38, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
Point taken. Dr. Ox quack specialist 08:08, 17 May 2019 (UTC)

Nomination[edit]
