About your edits being deleted...[edit]
It's probably not "for no reason". I checked your contributions, and it looks like you're making wild and unsubstantiated allegations. I'll let @Plutocow and @Cosmikdebris explain if they can be bothered, but if that is the reason, you're not the first editor whose "brilliant contributions" have failed to hold up to scrutiny, and you probably won't be the last. Maybe try to stick closer to facts and leave your opinions to the side. --LeCapraGrande (talk) 02:52, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
- Now there, @LeCapraGrande, please explain to us that you're not a sock of Luigifan18 and that you're just here to help. —cosmikdebris talk stalk 03:40, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Cosmikdebris I've been lurking long enough to see other users make similar mistakes, the user you mentioned being one of them (if a particularly severe case), and I figured I'd reach out with some friendly advice before it got out of hand again. Let's talk about the person who actually needs help, shall we? This is about helping Adolfus contribute. --LeCapraGrande (talk) 14:32, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
- @LeCapraGrande whats so "wild" about my "allegations"? also, the table on the wiki article is primarily opinion based. Care to comment @Plutocow @Cosmikdebris? Adolfus (talk) 18:31, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
- Well, I can't actually say for sure what the problem is; I don't want to put words in other editors' mouths. As for why I made the guess I did, the "wild" part is unilaterally changing the opinions expressed in the article without even trying to discuss it with the community first, and the "unsubstantiated" part is that you didn't include any citations (granted, as you said, the parts that you changed are largely opinion-based and there wouldn't be much to cite, but there's still enough factual basis in the whole "target audience versus actual audience of a given wiki" thing that having some sort of source for any information that you try to add would be a good idea, so I still think you should read the Help:References page). --LeCapraGrande (talk) 18:47, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
