Lol[edit]

I like your userpage, nice generalizing by the way. I can't wait to see you get blocked by some idiot like karajunk and then disappear from CP overnight, like DanielPulido. Rationalize (talk) 03:20, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Fuck you too. I get along quite fine with Karajou and JPatt. By the way, I'm out of here. DMorris2 (talk) 03:22, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

If you're gonna hang out here...[edit]

You might as well be on an even footing with the mob. You're a sysop now. P-Foster (talk) 03:21, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

I'm flattered, P-Foster. I won't be sticking around though, mostly because I find it would be a waste of my time, and because I will not be a part of a vandal site. But thanks DMorris2 (talk) 03:23, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Yet you remain. ATP (talk) 03:27, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

User page[edit]

"I personally don't understand why people here are so opposed to people with differing views creating a wiki and acting like we're space aliens." That's exactly what Andy did in response to Wikipedia.  Lily Inspirate me. 07:49, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Well given things like "relativity is a liberal plot", "the Bible is too liberal", "God didn't have enough conservative words when wrote the Bible", "Sarah Palin will lose the election because the Facebook movie didn't win the Oscar" etc, etc, and you wonder why we do look at you like you're space aliens? Not to mention your unhealthy obsession with cheerleaders. --PsyGremlinKhuluma! 08:56, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
And you think some of your views aren't seen as extreme? RatWiki is only moderate if you're comparing it to Liberapedia, and it's otherwise more extreme and more loony than Conservapedia. Conservapedia actually has good information and is a good resource. And my "unhealthy obsession with cheerleaders?" What the hell is that supposed to mean? DMorris2 (talk) 13:17, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
You can't leave and never come back if you refuse to leave. --Kels (talk) 13:20, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
RobSmith and TK are members here, so I don't see why I can't be. DMorris2 (talk) 13:21, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Us? Extreme? Well, compared to Andy 'Greatest Mind of the 14th Century' Schlafly maybe. And yes, CP is a fantastic resource - must be why so many website and commentators are citing it as a source. And you don't rant and rave (and project) about cheerleaders? --PsyGremlinParlez! 13:24, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Ranting and raving about one vandal being a pain in the ass at Wikipedia is not parallel with having an unhealthy obsession with cheerleaders, or even a hate for cheerleaders. I doubt that vandal is even really a cheerleader. And most of the time that block reason is used for people who are parodists, and people that slander CP on this site. You won't see me doing any of that.
Rob & TK are/were hypocrites (see the 'member of vandal site' blocking reason. Now either you're a hypocrite too, or you need to block yourself on CP, or remove the block reason. Which is it? --PsyGremlinTal! 13:24, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Actually, I'd argue that as long as DMorris himself doesn't block anyone for being a member of this site, he isn't a hypocrite. He isn't a Señor Admin, and doesn't have the authority to remove block reasons. This assumes this really is DMorris, however, which is questioned (see below). DickTurpis (talk) 14:17, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
(EC) More extreme and more loony than Conservapedia? Please back that up with examples. Admittedly it does come down to point of view, but you don't have to try to hard to find plenty of examples we give of CP's lunacy. I'd genuinely like to hear what you think is comparable about us. Bear in mind we don't purport to be an encyclopedia, so pointing out unencyclopedic aspects isn't useful. And you say "Conservapedia actually has good information and is a good resource." Well, that's true in that there are some marginally useful articles with what are basically true facts in them, but those are basically filler for hit pieces and weird BS thats trumpeted on the main page. For every half-decent run-of-the-mill article on a very mundane topic (I just hit random page over there and got cp:vinegar, hardly a really good article, but it has factual information in it) there is a much better article over at Wikipedia. This is why no one uses CP as a general reference encyclopedia. DickTurpis (talk) 13:28, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Most of the articles over there that contain useful information were created by people who have since been blocked, or were disgusted and left on their own (and were then blocked). Truefax. --Kels (talk) 13:47, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
I used Conservapedia in a school project and got an A, thank you very much. As for RatWiki, I'm sorry, but the Flying Spaghetti Monster was invented by loony atheists that are so afraid that intelligent design might be taught along side of evolution. Jesus Christ, what is wrong with letting kids decide for themselves? DMorris2 (talk) 13:41, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
"I used Conservapedia in a school project and got an A". Sorry, Andy's classes don't count. Or are you a student at a real school? Did you cite CP, or just get information from it? Mind telling me what specific CP articles you cited? I'm curious to know. As for FSM, well, it's clearly not a serious religion, and yes, it was invented by an atheist as a rhetorical example of flaws in the intelligent design movement. Much like Last Thursdayism. No one here (I'm pretty sure) actually believes in the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Is that the best you can do? Come on, you said we're more extreme and loony than CP. Give us some examples. Where's our equivalent of Jesus disproving relativity? Our most great things in the world were accomplished by teenagers? DickTurpis (talk) 13:50, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

RobSmith and TK are members here, so I don't see why I can't be.[edit]

TK isn't a member here. TK is dead. Also, CP has "member of a vandal site" as a default block reason, so, that might be a reason you couldn't come over here. Certainly, if TK were still alive, you would have either been blocked from CP by now, or at least received a "cease and desist" chat message. P-Foster (talk) 13:35, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

I was a short lived member here when TK was still alive under the name User:PCHS-NJROTC. TK never said anything. I'd use that user name if I could remember what password I used; I have to use a different password here than I use everywhere else because I don't trust you people. DMorris2 (talk) 13:45, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
I'm sorry but there's no way we could find out your password, if you added your email address then you can request a temporary new one. And by the way, using the same password everywhere is not a particularly secure thing to do.  Lily Inspirate me. 15:05, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Flying Kitties, Fat Atheists, The Conservative Bible, One-Line Ed Stubs about Movies Featuring Pubescent Girls, Different Tests for Boys and Girls[edit]

Seriously, D. You want a decent online encyclopedia with a conservative POV? I get it. Problem is, there are huge chunks of content over there -- the stuff that screams the loudest -- that is seriously messed up. You need to use your pull as a rising admin to get rid of some of the crazy and get the project on track to do what it was meant to do. Or convince me why any or all of the above listed features are something I should take seriously. Peace. P-Foster (talk) 13:40, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

We at Conservapedia have a right to our views, just as you have a right to your's. God bless America and the rest of the free world. DMorris2 (talk) 13:43, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Flat-earthers and the people who stand on the street corner ranting about the Illuminati are entitled to their views, but that doesn't maker them right, or encyclopedic, or reasonable. The Flying Kitty makes the project look infantile. The fat atheists is demonstrably untrue. Ed's obsession with teenage girls is creepy. The Bible project is blasphemous, and different tests for boys and girls is discriminatory. How do any of these advance a conservative project? P-Foster (talk) 13:47, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
You certainly do have a right to your views, and long may that continue. Just don't go thinking you're building an encyclopedia - and CP, in the right hands, could have been a really effective pro-American, conservative, family-friendly encyclopedia that people took seriously. Will it ever be? Totnesmartin (talk) 13:51, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Guys, did anybody bother to check if this is the real guy? Like, at all? My Parody/Poe Sense is tingling (okay, actually it's going WHOO but you know what I mean), especially after his reply in this section. --Sid (talk) 13:49, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
"Deny this and lose all credibility" did it for me. ТyTalk. 13:50, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
That got me thinking too, though the rest seems pretty legit. The initial pseudo-legal threat did seem like the sort of thing I'd expect from a real CP editor though. DickTurpis (talk) 13:56, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
I'm not a parodist people. DMorris2 (talk) 13:57, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Something seems amiss, actually: "I am a consumer advocate and have a long history of informing them of dishonest business practices" and "I used Conservapedia in a school project and got an A". A consumer advocate who is still in high (or middle) school? Smells fishy to me. DickTurpis (talk) 14:00, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Indeed a consumer advocate who was recently still in high school. I've been a consumer advocate since I was a HS freshman. DMorris2 (talk) 15:00, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
And who uses CP as a reference source. I see, it all starts to make sense. Although you really should ignore Karajou's continual threats of legal action, they're all piss and wind from an old man.  Lily Inspirate me. 15:12, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

"Jesus Christ, what is wrong with letting kids decide for themselves? "[edit]

Because then they would have ice cream for breakfast every day and they would never do their math homework. And they would poop wherever they felt like it. And fighting would be a reasonable solution to interpersonal conflicts. And they would believe that Superman can really fly or that Santa Claus brings presents to all the boys and girls. And that the Earth was flat. The world would be Lord of the Flies writ large, but with no science. P-Foster (talk) 14:07, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

I'm sure the CP gang would be okay with that last part. --Kels (talk) 14:12, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
If that statement refers to evolution/creationism, then kids can decide for themselves. If, after learning the actual science (natural science, not supernatural), a student says "you know, I still think God did all this." he is free to think that. Ain't America great! DickTurpis (talk) 14:14, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
But what is wrong with teaching intelligent design along side of evolution, and let students decide for themselves? DMorris2 (talk) 14:17, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Have you noticed that the sciences courses you take in high school (or middle school, or whatever school you go to) are called Natural Science? ID isn't science; it deals with the supernatural, which cannot be studied. "Maybe God did this, we can't disprove the possibility" isn't science. If you think the "controversy" should be taught, teach it in the social sciences, along with the rest of politics. DickTurpis (talk) 14:20, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
(E/C) So then you believe in indoctrinating students with certain views? Like Hitler did? Heil Hitler! Heil Hitler! Screw the Jews! That didn't work out so well in Germany did it? DMorris2 (talk) 14:15, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Are you retarded? DickTurpis (talk) 14:17, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
EC Wow, your first response right out of the chute is a Godwin's Law violation? Impressive. No, I believe in education, and science pretty much makes a strong claim for evolution. P-Foster (talk) 14:18, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Why do you act like such a tuff guy online?[edit]

Yesterday me and my sister found your Facebook page. Then we looked at what you were doing on Conservapedia. The last 4 people you blocked you told them to go back to cheerleading practice except for one, like its an insult. Yet I noticed immediately after blocking a person named Sarah something you wrote not all cheerleaders are indecent on the cheerleading article. Funny how you post that right after blocking someone who had that all cheerleaders are whores on their user page. I saw on Facebook where youre always buttering up at least 5 of the cheerleaders from your own school. You obviously care about them and dont tell me that its all in the name of your LORD. So are you so close minded that you think that only the cheerleaders at your school are the only nice ones? Or are you just being an ass? I dont think all those girls you talk with on Facebook would think so highly of you if they knew you were telling random trolls that they belong in cheerleading practice. Why do you pretend to hate cheerleaders so much? Im really curious. 15:25, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

perverted[edit]

I guess you could say RW "perverts the truth," but you know that the word perverted the adjective isn't typically used that way, right?

On another note, before I had sent you that mail with the link to Methodological naturalism, I had sent you another mail. Did you receive it? As I was writing it I thought it seemed very convincing (although I guess I'm biased there :p), and it'd be a shame of it got lost in cyberspace or something. I shall send it again, mkay?--User:Brxbrx/sig 01:54, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

I got the email, and it makes a good point. Of course it doesn't change my position, but it's an interesting piece. DMorris2 (talk) 02:11, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Truth hurts, doesn't it?[edit]

I don't see any references to that slander of RobSmith over on the Saloon Bar. RatWiki is perverse because a significant portion of it's membership has a bizarre obsession with members of Conservapedia, and it was created as a think-tank to find more ways to harass members of CP. It also contains perverted jokes and overall childishness. I don't care what you change about this site, that stigma will never vanish. RatWiki is not created by sensible scientists, it is created by a bunch of fools, or at least it is created by people who have no problem with publicly making fools of themselves. When I point this out, I am blocked. You have a right to do that, but that's not how the mob typically works. You tolerate the trolling of MarcusCicero and LBHS Cheerleader but not from Conservapedians just here to point out that you're full of shit. DMorris2 (talk) 15:12, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Well shit, I didn't notice that it was an initiation block. DMorris2 (talk) 15:16, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
"I don't see any references to that slander of RobSmith over on the Saloon Bar." Look under the "Personal interests" section of the article. P-Foster (talk) 15:18, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
I read that ages ago, no mention there of an obsession with porn, and even if there was, I wouldn't believe it. I take anything published on RatWiki with a grain of salt. DMorris2 (talk) 15:21, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
Taking things with a grain of salt is always a good idea, and I commend you for that. Does that go so far as to include your approach to questions like the suitability of an armed coup/publishing a "hitlist" of senators is a good idea/ the idea that the child of an American citizen born on US soil is not a "natural-born citizen"/the idea that male and female students should write different exams/that women shouldn't run Fortune 500 companies/men have the uncontestable right to sexual access to their wives no matter what she says/there is a relationship between atheism and obesity/the Bible needs to be purged of liberal bias? I hope you take those with a grain of salt, too!! P-Foster (talk) 15:27, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
What I agree with and disagree with at Conservapedia is for me to know and you not to know. Godspeed. DMorris2 (talk) 15:28, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

(e/c)Ho ho ho, aren't you the little stereotypical ageist, assuming that all young people are liberals or atheists or whatever. Actually, I'd say I've known a lot of homophobic people under 25 (take a look at all the people calling people "faggots" on Wikipedia from school IPs). I've even known liberals and atheists that were more homophobic than myself. In fact, I'm probably more tolerant of it than you think. While I don't feel homosexuality is the right way to live, I've known people that were homosexual and treat them like anyone else. It's their fate in the end, not mine. Human says he's still 403'd. I'm inclined to believe him. Like I said on his talk page: who's the coward now? B♭maj7 So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world. 00:03, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Agree with B-Flat. The day I believe Andy that he "undid" something like a server block is the day that my shit turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbert. And I'll award 600 virtual internets to anyone who gets that reference. The Spikey Punk I'm punking my punk! 19:36, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

Hey, TK[edit]

Block all the IPs you want, but it will never stop the vandalism, sweetheart. 72.231.253.191 (talk) 20:39, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the compliment my friend! It might not stop the vandalism, but trust me friend, all vandals slip up eventually and abuse their home IP, and that's what stops the vandalism. Plus, it's annoying as hell for the troll when all of their proxies are blocked. 68.233.235.50 (talk) 20:47, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
What, you report them to the FBIFDACS? -- Nx / talk 20:50, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

Abuse@rr.com if anything in recent history comes up under that Road Runner IP when Karajou or Jpatt checkuser it. Think they won't do anything? Ask AT&T troll, Halifax troll, or some of these people I've AR'd for Wikipedia vandalism recently. You could do the same to me right now, but 1> I'm using an open proxy, and 2> I'm using wi-fi in a restaurant I don't think I'll ever be returning to. 199.19.105.156 (talk) 21:00, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
So in other words, you have absolutely no life? -- Seth Peck (talk) 21:01, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
I think that is what he is saying, yes. 72.231.253.191 (talk) 21:42, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
I have as much of a life as anyone at Rat-Wiki does. DMorris2 (talk) 21:51, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
