There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity. |
Fighting pseudoscience isn't free. We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with ![]() ![]() |

Autopatrolled[edit]
Because of your edits to and time on the wiki, Autopatrolled has been added to your user rights. This lets you bypass most of the abuse filters, bypass the CAPTCHA, and edit more frequently. If you have questions, bleat ask away.
We hope you enjoy your newfound POWER — and these external tools:
- Google Scholar Button (Chrome, Firefox) searches your highlighted text in Google Scholar. Easily check academic citations!
- web.archive.org and archive.today, among other tools, can save permanent copies of webpages. Never lose a crank website or racist Tweet ever again! As per Vee. Bongolian (talk) 21:09, 16 January 2023 (UTC)
You also feel pain in your dreams[edit]
What do you think is the most likely explanation? Torrent (talk) 03:44, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- It started when I was very young with night time asthma, where the pain in the dream was actual pain, though my dreaming mind would make up some terrifying reason for it. I presume I somehow learned to feel pain in dreams as a result. These days it can be actual pain, remembered pain, or even new completely imagined pain. Fortunately, it's not common.
