Hi there Silvermute Wave.gif, welcome to RationalWiki the repulsively unpleased pork chop of teh internetz. - User 06:29, 28 March 2009 (EDT)

Cheers! I've been lurking for ages, but you guys seem to have so much fun it seemed about time I got an account.Silvermute 06:55, 28 March 2009 (EDT)

a small point but see here about indenting. It's a wiki custom & improves readability of talk pages. ToastToastand marmite 02:23, 3 April 2009 (EDT)
thanks for the pointer - I should have read the instructions! Silvermute 12:47, 3 April 2009 (EDT)
No worries, we all started as learners. ToastToastand marmite 14:55, 3 April 2009 (EDT)

FSM have mercy! You do realise the English have flashbacks to the empire and try and invade (small) places and stuff? On the other hand, we can't afford bullets anymore, so it's probably not too risky...
Thanks, anyhow!Silvermute 16:10, 3 April 2009 (EDT)

Cheers! And thank you - made me realise I should put this laptop down, get up and go and have breakfast...Silvermute (talk) 09:30, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

From where did the bullshit arrive?[edit]

JimJast? Maratreanism? WTF? I thought this was a wiki devoted to rational thought, not a hangout for the deluded.Silvermute (talk) 09:00, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
Attempts to remove JimJast have met with failure, but luckily he seems mostly restricted to essay space. ТyNo 12:01, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
Even though I have only edited about twice over the last few years, I have long treasured this site. And don't get me wrong, I have no desire to censor what people write or limit access for anyone (well, apart from obvious spambots etc), but by the same token I don't want the tinfoil hat crew using this site to propagate their bollocks as if in some way a product of "rational" thought. I find it hard enough seeing some of the infighting that goes on, but "Gravitation demystified" is Timecube with sums. Enough already Silvermute (talk) 13:01, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
That's why I reply to him with timecubeesque statements. The attempt at reforming essay space sadly failed, but it looks like people are finally becoming fed up, as he seems to think that everyone is interested in him, and that we are (voluntarily) hosting his material. ТyAhoy! 13:04, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
I object to being called deluded. And "rational thought" is in the eye of the beholder. You don't have to agree with JimJast — I don't — but that is no excuse for the personal attacks some have launched against him, or for certain people swearing at him, or so on. If you don't agree with his ideas, either debate them with him — or, if you aren't interested in that, people can politely brush him off. (((Zack Martin))) 13:09, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
Object all you like, your "religion" is a titanic bag of shite. And I've tried debating JimJast, getting a Gish-gallop with pasted equations in reply. But you're missing my point: I have no problem with you advocating any crap you either believe in or pretend to believe in, I just don't like seeing crapped all over this site. And my opinion means nothing, so keep on with the twaddle if it makes you feel good.Silvermute (talk) 13:32, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
