RationalWiki's 2019 Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff – we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

If everyone seeing this today donates $5, we will meet our goal for 2019.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Donations so far: $2900Goal: $6000

Talk pages[edit]

You can't edit them like that. --TheLateGatsby (talk) 11:51, 5 September 2012 (UTC)

'sright. If someone says something factually incorrect, then the proper response is to answer the post with what is true. Nobody is allowed to remove talk page posts, unless it's obvious spam, outing user's real-life personal info, or vile trolling. Disgreeing with what somebody says isn't any of those things. OK, thanks--I was misled by the wording of "I have removed"...at the top of the page. Is there no authority to which appeal can be made, for removing silliness such as Syamsu's chart, from a wiki that is supposed to be "rational"?Slowvehicle (talk) 12:57, 5 September 2012 (UTC)

You can remove crap stuff from articles but we are strict about talk pages. If in doubt, ask. Also, "But I thought this was supposed to be RATIONALWiki!" Drink! SophieWilder 13:02, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
