2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Keep[edit]

  1. Keep. He's certainly missional: someone just needs to look at a couple of his books. Also not mentioned in our stub is that wrote a book on pseudoscientific cyclical theory, titled Cycles in Your Life—The Rhythms of War, Wealth, Nature, and Human Behavior. Or Patterns in War, Wealth, Weather, Women, Men, and Nature (1964). Bongolian (talk) 03:54, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
according to Google (it's a little obscure, but you may have heard of it) there are many reviews of his books online, which makes the article easily expandable. WilderBicycle 17:42, 7 May 2018 (UTC)

Goat[edit]

  1. "Barely missional"? I think a piece on "How to Lie with Statistics" is actually pretty relevant to RationalWiki's mission (being how pro-pseudoscience folks like the global warming deniers and Fox News often botch stastistics. I think that subject can stand to have its own article, where we can document from the book how statistics and be manipulated. Not sure what we can say about Darrel Huff, but with his book, that's high potential for an article. --It's-a me, Lgm sigpic.png LeftyGreenMario! 03:02, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
