RationalWiki's 2019 Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff – we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

If everyone who saw this today donated $5, we would meet our goal for 2019.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Donations so far: $3900Goal: $6000

What for? /:-) Natman (talk) 19:56, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

Taking so long to roll out the red carpet. ТyTalk. 19:58, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
Ah, hell. It's nothing compared to how long it took to actually get an account. By all measures, you were fairly quick :)
Thanks :) Enjoy your stay! ТyTalk. 20:00, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
I didn't get such a kind welcome the other day from Тy, why are you so special? Then again I did try to delete my own user talk page :-/. Welcome to RW as well, I joined a day before you I think. Interesting education you have, would your religious philosophy fall in lines with my short short essay: Essay:We_are_all_theists? Markedc (talk) 00:12, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
Your essay was interesting but I'm of the opinion that there are no gods. However, because I cannot say that without coming across as hypocritical with regards my mockery of those who believe on faith, I'm prepared to accept that there might be gods, but it cannot be proven one way or another. The evidence isn't looking good, however, and the evidence that gods are required is conclusive. As the supernatural cannot be analysed, measured or quantified, and as it has no discernable effect on the material world, I discard it.
Having said that, if it baits the theists, I make uncompromising assertions that there are no gods ;-) Natman (talk) 08:53, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

Rant[edit]

No problem, you can even write an essay about it! ТyTalk. 12:12, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

I might just do that, however the only time I get sufficiently worked up about it is at work (as soon as I walk out that door, work ceases to exist for me) and when I try to edit pages (even my own!) there's that silly spamchecker box. For some daft reason, most probably due to the Great Firewall I work behind (gotta love the nuclear industry), that spamchecker box is either invisible or warped to hell Natman (talk) 12:25, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
I think I just fixed that. Here is the manual. enjoy! ТyTalk. 12:28, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
...well that's one way of doing it. Meep Natman (talk) 13:19, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
I take it that means it worked? Oh, and most people here are sysops. ТyTalk. 13:33, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
